With a total of 38 Superbikes entered for the Kings International the question now is who will be crowned KING?
There are a number of contenders for the Superbike title with 12 Internationals, 2 Australian nationals and 24 local riders competing.
Four of the 2008 International riders will be returning to Perth – Ian Lowry, Michael Laverty, Ryan Farquhar, and Michael Swann.
They will be joined by fellow UK and Irish riders the likes of Jeremy McWilliams, Conor Cummins, Guy Martin, Ian Lougher, Ian Lowry, Keith Amor, Simon Andrews and now confirmed Irish Superbike Champion Alastair Seeley.
Plus Aussie’s Shannon Johnson winner of the 2009 Formula OZ Series and Pro Twin Series on the KTM RC8R and Team Yamaha Australia Superbike rider Daniel Stauffer.
The Superbikes will compete for the title over 3 races of 15 laps on the Sunday and a strong field of both WA and New South Wales Sidecar Teams competing for the Sidecar Crown.
Good entries have also been received for Support events of Supersport, Superstock 600, Clubman 600 and 1000cc plus the 125GP race.
Special Guests of the event will be Australia’s own World Champion – Andrew Pitt – Winner of the 2001 and 2008 World Supersport Championships and teammate Jonathan Rea, one of the hottest talents in World motorcycling taking two wins and three podiums in his debut season in World Superbike for Ten Kate Honda.

The event will be conducted over three days –
Friday Practice 9am to 4pm
Saturday Qualifying 9am all Classes with support class races mid afternoon
Sunday Racing 9am Warm-ups First Race 10am
Not only will the action be on track but off track there will be plenty of activities for young and old with Trade displays and Exhibits, Merchandise, Juniors and Historic bike display, and a “Kiddies Corner” with rides, bouncy castle and face painting
Also the West Coast Stuntors will be performing on the Sunday and spectators will be able to test their skills on the Wheelie Machine in Turn 1.
