June 15 - (WA) - WA Pony Express Series, with round one of the three round series being staged at Cervantes. This year the Cervantes course is all new and
the rocks competitors have complained of in previous years are not found on the new course. Pony Express events are two-man team events. One rider does the first lap, followed by the other rider
completing the next lap and so on. There is also an 'Iron Man' class for the truly adventurous. Laps are normally between 12 and 17 minutes in length and races are held on bush tracks marked by
arrows. The second round is scheduled for July 13 at Collie before the third and final event is held by the Trail & Enduro club at Brookton on August 31. Ring 9527 5093 for more information.
