KENNY ROBERTS - Pole Position - "Bob (Toomey) and Warren (Willing) came up with some good settings morning to afternoon, and they really helped. I wouldn't have been able to do that lap time with this morning's bike. The change gives the bike more stability at maximum lean, which is something we've been struggling with. With the bike more stable I can move around more and use the brakes more. When you find something that improves the way the bike feels in the fast stuff, it generally works for the slow stuff too. It should help over race distance too. So I'm feeling pretty happy - I did my lap time on a race tyre, and those tyres were doing 20 laps easy. I just need to get a good start, so I can run my own race."
