ALEX CRIVILLÉ – 4th – 2’02.256 - "We’ve come back from the summer break and straight away, we’re back in the groove of things so that’s good news. I’m happy and I feel confident for this race. I enjoyed the bike today, I had fun riding it, and that’s the main thing. This afternoon, we worked towards the race and we intend to continue along those lines tomorrow. For sure, I want to be in a position where I can fight for the win on Sunday. I like this track and I’ve already won here in the past so I’m looking to do so again this year. We spent the whole of this afternoon’s session fighting for the pole and that feels great".
SETE GIBERNAU – 7th – 2’02.915 - "We had a couple of days of testing at Mugello during the summer break and that did us a lot of good. We picked up a lot of information at those tests. This season has been really difficult for us because it’s been so hard to find a set-up with which I could feel comfortable and all the rain we had certainly didn’t help. At the Mugello tests we started to work towards what we think should be a good set-up. We’ve been trying different geometry settings and today I felt much better and much more comfortable on the bike. Now, we just have some small changes to make for tomorrow".
TADY OKADA – 15th – 2’04.022 - "I crashed twice at the Suzuka Eight hours and although I didn’t really hurt myself much, I have a badly stretched ligament in my left ankle. That means the bike is hard to ride for me. It’s not really painful, but it’s hard to move around and change direction. The injury meant I had to miss the Mugello test and judging by the way my two team-mates are riding today, that is a bad thing. They’ve obviously benefited from riding during the summer break. I tried a more powerful engine today and it didn’t seem to be working well for me. It was a little too powerful so for tomorrow, we’ll probably go back to the standard engine".
