Mark Willis - "I'm a lot happier than this time yesterday. I'm riding the bike much better today. Yesterday I was trying too hard - rushing into corners and carrying a lot of speed to the apex, but having trouble getting out fast.  We tried two different set-up ideas this morning that were quite different, and one of them was good enough to be the basis for the afternoon qualifying session. At the same time, I've been getting more confident. So the bike and I have improved together.  My good time came on qualifying tyres, but I was able to do 1:54 dead on race tyres. If we can take a little more time off tomorrow morning in warm-up, then I'll be confident I can get a reasonable result. And if it rains, I'll be really happy."
Anthony West - "Most of the improvement today over yesterday is because I'm getting more familiar with the track and getting more comfortable with it. We worked on the suspension a bit to make it softer to absorb the bumps. It felt a lot better, but I'm not sure where I'm still losing time. We'll have to look at the computer to see where and try and work something out. I like this track and I don't mind all the bumps. It's just hard to find a set-up so that it doesn't kick you out of the seat when you go over them. It will help me if it rains, but only if it keeps raining, not like yesterday (first practice session) when a dry line started to develop. I go better in the wet because of my dirt-track experience. I'm happy when it's sliding around."
