Suzuki confirms their 2001 World Championship line-ups

1: Road Racing World Championship 500
Suzuki is set to defend motorcycling's most sought after world championship with one of the strongest rider and bike line-ups in the paddock. The reigning champion - American Kenny Robert's Jr - will be joined by Spanish star Sete Gibernau. They will both ride Suzuki's new and more powerful RGV racers in 2001.

2: Superbike World Championship
The high-profile Team Suzuki Alstare has been strengthened for 2001. Competing alongside popular Italian title contender Pierfrancesco Chili will be French ace Stephane Chambon, the 1999 World Supersport champion. Both riders will have all-new Suzuki GSX-R750 machinery to help them to victory in 2001.

3: Supersport World Championship
The all-new Suzuki GSX-R600 has been developed for track success and for 2001 Team Suzuki Alstare has two top class riders. Japanese racer Katsuaki Fujiwara makes his debut in the 600cc class alongside Australian race winner Karl Muggeridge.

4: Motocross World Championship 250
World Championship runner-up Michael Pichon from France and team-mate Josh Coppins from New Zealand will both be riding for Suzuki in 2001. They are hoping to go one-step further and win the world title.
