Race 1

Ross cooper fell on lap one as Aaron Gobert and Deon Coote headed off to commence a battle for the lead that waged throughout the whole race.  

Rodney Taplin finished third after holding off a determined charge from WA local Darren Peach (RGV).

Race 2

Deon Coote, Aaron Gobert and Rodney Taplin were the early leaders with local runner Darren Peach a couple of seconds back in 4th.  Coote and Gobert were fighting hard. 

Gobert got the lead on lap four but Coote took it right back at the start of lap five.  Gobert back in front as they crossed the line to commence lap seven but Coote got back past him in turn one. 

Gobert back in front on lap eight, these guys were playing hard and the winner would definitely be decided at the final turn on the final lap. 

They crossed the line and received the last lap board while side-by-side.  Coote and Gobert into the final turn, Gobert squares it off best but has to get out of the throttle when his rear stepped out, allowing Coote to get better drive and crossed the line 2-tenths ahead of Gobert for the win.
