American SuperBike 2001 - Round 2 - Sears Point

Anthony Gobert led for most of the race but could not break away from Nicky Hayden who finally made his move with 7 laps to go.  But Anthony got in front again with around 4 laps to run and held Nicky out for the win.

Mladin - "Basically, I just couldn't ride the bike the same way as I normally do, having to exert the extra effort on the upper body to compensate for the lack of strength in my leg really took it out of me in today's race. I was OK during qualifying where you only need to string a few laps together, but in the full race distance, it was a lot more difficult. I did get past my team-mate Aaron Yates briefly for third, but he was pushing harder, so it was a wiser decision to tuck in close behind him for the finish. The next round is two weeks away, so I feel confident that I will have regained a lot of my fitness by then."
