Australian Sidecar - Back with the Aussie Championship next season?

According to some information I have been provided........, last Sunday members of the Australian Sidecar planning committee were approached by Ron Kivovich (MA President) and Darryn Hannah (MA General Manager) and conveyed the message that they wished the Australian Sidecar Championship to once again run alongside the Australian Road Racing Championships.

I believe that MA have offered the sidecar racers the opportunity to race as many rounds as they wish with good funding and high profile billing in the program.

The sidecar fraternity are believed to be discussing this proposal over the next couple of days as MA want an answer before the end of this weekend's SAASC round where they seek to announce the plans for next year's Australian Championship series.

Sidecar racers in Australia have proven themselves to be a tight knit community who will fight tooth and nail to ensure the survival and growth of their series.
