Round 3 of the Australian Sidecar Championship gets a reprieve

Motorcycling Australia is pleased to announce that Round 3 of the Australian Sidecar Championships, previously advised to have been cancelled, has been revived.

The Round will be held at the Stars of Tomorrow event, scheduled for Phillip Island on November 10 and 11.

Hartwell Motorcycling Club and its major sponsor, AGV, have generously agreed to convert the Sidecar races on November 10-11 into Championship races.

The Championship sponsors, Lazer Helmets and Stars of Tomorrow Sponsors, AGV, are commercial competitors but have put the interests of the sport ahead of business considerations on this occasion in a warming and welcomed gesture.

John Chiodo of Monza Imports, Bruce Collins of Bruce Collins Enterprises and Mark Cadle of Hartwell MCC are to be congratulated for their efforts, ensuring Round 3 of the Championship is conducted.

MA acknowledges some competitors may be inconvenienced but in the interests of conducting a credible championship the best option was achieved.
