2000 Valencia GP had biggest attendance
| The GP at Valencia was the most popular World Championship motorcycle race in 2000. Around 210,000 fans flocked to the Spanish circuit on race day to watch Kenny Roberts Jr take another step towards winning the World Championship. That figure marginally pips the Jerez crowd of 201,000 earlier in the season in Spain, when Roberts took the race victory. Both Spanish rounds are well ahead of the third most popular circuit - Germany's Sachsenring attracted 161,000 fans. The Suzuka 8-hour race in Japan with 155,000 visitors is the most popular World Endurance round, while the most popular World Superbike round was at Brands Hatch in England, with 115,000 spectators. The most popular off-road event was the Sidecar Cross event at Volkovysk, Belarus, that attracted 60,000 visitors. Surprised at that one or what ?!!!!
