Hodgson gets the jump off the line, Edwards 2nd, Bostrom 3rd, Chili 4th. Corser 8th, Bayliss 10th.

A lap later Bayliss had squeezed his way up to 5th while Corser languished in 9th.

Bostrom got under Edwards a few laps later then set out after Hodgson, he got there but it took around 5 laps and from there he was not headed until

Bayliss came from a long way back in 5th to catch on to Chili and Edwards with 6 laps remaining and made it past both of them to take 3rd.
