World SuperBike 2001 - Round 12 - Assen - Race 2

Go back and read about race 1...

Bayliss gets the run off the line again but Edwards also off the line well this time.  Xaus 2nd, Edwards 3rd.

Corser having a stronger race 2 and slotted past Edwards on lap 4 to take 3rd place.  Edwards was then pushed further and further behind, probably due to incorrect tyre choice.

Xaus once again shadowed Bayliss throughout and could have passed but instead played wingman to his team-mate.

Bayliss took another win and due to a now insurmountable points lead is the 2001 World SuperBike Champion.
