back and read about race 1...
Edwards got a flyer off the line with Hodgson and Bayliss right behind. Bostrom slides under Bayliss half way around the first lap. Edwards, Hodgson, Bostrom, Bayliss, Hislop, Corser, Reynolds, Chili, Yanagawa, Lavilla, Xaus, Okada, Laconi, Chambon, Ulm, Craggill, Martin, Parkes. Corser through on Hislop for 5th then half a lap later through on Bayliss for 4th. Hodgson underneath Edwards for the lead as they commence lap 3. Corser through on Bostrom, Troy Corser could be the man to challenge Hodgson in this race 2. Bayliss through on Bostrom for 4th. Hodgson the fastest man on the track, Corser is going to have to get by Edwards as quickly as possible if he is to have any hope of breaking away out the front with Hodgson. Bayliss makes a big mistake and ran across the grass and lost a few positions. So Chili now in 5th and will be challenging Bostrom any minute now. Hodgson breaking away out the front, Corser challenging Edwards but can't quite make a pass stick, yet... Chili through on Bostrom for 4th. Reynolds also now challenging Bostrom. Lap 7 - Hodgson, Edwards, Corser, Chili, Reynolds, Bostrom, Hislop, Bayliss, Yanagawa, Okada, Xaus, Laconi, Lavilla, Chambon, Parkes, Craggill, Martin, Bussei, Ulm, Borja, Borciani, Sanchini, Toseland. Corser through on Edwards for 2nd, a few corners later Chili also takes Edwards and thus promotes himself to 3rd. Hislop out with mechanical failure, that's my tips completely buggered for this weekend. Hodgson still in the lead but being caught by Corser and Chili. Pierfrancesco now the fastest man on the circuit. Toseland out with mechanical failure. Corser underneath Hodgson and in to the lead. Troy has the speed but ran wide a lap later in the final turn which allowed Hodgson and Chili to close right up on his tailpipes again. Lap 13 of 25 - Corser, Hodgson, Chili, Reynolds, Bostrom, Edwards, Okada, Yanagawa, Bayliss, Xaus, Laconi, Lavilla, Chambon, Parkes, Craggill. Hodgson back in to the lead and immediately opens a few bike lengths on Corser. Xaus through on Bayliss for 9th. Chili through on Corser. 7 laps to go now - Hodgson, Chili, Corser, Bostrom, Reynolds, Edwards, Okada, Yanagawa, Xaus, Bayliss, Lavilla, Laconi, Chambon, Parkes. Hodgson still out in front with a hard charging Chili right on his tail. Corser has dropped off the pace of the leading duo slightly so it looks as though it is going to be a Hodgson versus Chili battle to the end. Chili through for the lead with 2 laps to run. Final lap - Chili has made a couple of lengths on Hodgson, Corser looks too far behind to mount a challenge for 2nd. Chili takes the win.
