Pitt takes 2nd from MacPherson on lap 3, Muggeridge also through a few corners later and up into 3rd.  Pitt immediately with Whitham.

Pitt, Whitham and Muggeridge are bashing fairings nearly at this early stage of the race.

Pitt made a small mistake a lap later which allowed Whitham and Muggeridge through relegating Pitt back to 3rd.

Muggas is through for the lead now, the top 8 is virtually running nose to tail.  Pitt back underneath Whitham, Teuchert also through on Whitham.  Pitt to the front now, Muggas 2nd.

6 of 23 laps down.  Curtain is 11th, Vermeulen 15th, Fergusson 21st, Thomas 22nd, Johnson 25th.

Muggas and Whitham ran right out on to the dirty stuff which has allowed Pitt to take a couple of tenths out of them.  MacPherson crashed out.

Teuchert up into 2nd now and Muggeridge pushed back to 5th.  Whitham back through to 2nd but Pitt still out in front.

Lap 10 - Pitt, Whitham, Teuchert.  Curtain 11th, Fergusson 18th, Thomas 19th, Johnson 21st.  Muggeridge back up into 4th and the fastest man on the circuit.

Muggeridge in to the dirt.  Teuchert through on Whitham a few laps later and up into 2nd.

4 laps to go and Whitham back up to 2nd.  The next lap Teuchert gets back on Whitham for 2nd, the top 3 running nose to tail and Fujiwara has picked up the pace to join on the back and make it a quartet.

A lap and a half to go and Teuchert right on Pitt's tailpipe now and is sure to stick it under somewhere shortly. Can Pitt keep his head under this huge pressure? 

They go across the line nearly side by side but Teuchert got slightly better drive and scores the win.
