World SuperSport 2001 - Round 10 - Assen - Race Report

Fujiwara got the jump from pole and led them away.  Muggeridge also got away well and forced his way through to 2nd a few corners later.  Curtain in 5th, Pitt 7th.

Muggeridge shoots from 3rd to 1st at the end of the 2nd lap but Fujiwara and Casoli relegated him to 3rd again at the end of the mains straight. Curtain on a charge and the fastest man on the circuit over the 2nd lap.

Muggas slides out after Pirovano slowed mid-turn which made Muggas lose the front.

3 laps down and Casoli out in front from Fujiwara, Pirovano and Curtain when the rain starts falling and the riders hand go up which will mean this is a two part race.

As these guys are on treaded tyres I don't really agree with the rule that allows this to happen, especially when it is not bucketing down.  But ours is not to reason why...
