Mar 8 - Tipping competition - We have been working, well mostly somebody that knew what they were doing on making a tipping competition for the site that covers most of the major road racing series in the world.  We have an active system ready for this weekend but it is still to have the finishing touches added that will make it more user friendly for you.  Remember to make sure you enter all details correctly when registering otherwise you won't receive your password to enter your tips for the 2nd round.  The pages are ASP so they maybe a little slower than the pages you are accustomed to seeing on MCNEWS.COM.AU but just wait the extra couple of seconds for the drop down lists etc. to appear.  Go to it, register and add your tips for this weekends World SuperBike, SuperSport and American SuperBike rounds.  Take your time as for this first round you won't be able to go back in and change your tips. 

Mar 1 - World SuperSport - Alex Gobert will be standing in for Adam 'Krusty' Fergusson at the opening round of the World SuperSport Championship.  Krusty is sure he will be ready for the 2nd round at Phillip Island and is up and about now and recovering well from his injuries.  This will be Alex's first meeting at a world championship level, 17 years young but from the time I have spent with Alex it is easy to see that in the ways that matter Alex is definitely an old head on young shoulders.

Feb 10 - News - Adam 'Krusty' Fergusson has fractured his pelvis and dislocated his hip during testing.  It is thought that it is not a particularly bad injury (as far as this type of injury goes) and Dr. Costa has designed some sort of framed brace for Krusty to wear.  The chances of Adam participating in the first round of the World SuperSport Championship are remote but insiders say their is still hope.  Krusty was recovering in an Italian hospital when we spoke with him yesterday and is hoping to be discharged sometime Monday.  His plans are to head back to Germany for a couple of days and then fly back to Australia to continue his recovery.  Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery
