The popular Team Suzuki Support Rider program will continue in 2003, providing cash incentives of up to $100,000 for Suzuki privateer racers.

Entering its fourth year, the successful Suzuki contingency program will be bigger and better than ever. It is aimed at loyal Suzuki privateers who can earn cash rewards for racing Suzuki motorcycles.

"This contingency program is unique to Suzuki Australia and is recognition of the devotion, time, effort and expense that privateers give to race competitively," said Perry Morison, Suzuki Australia General Manager for Motorcycles.

"Suzuki is the only Australian motorcycle manufacturer with a contingency program. It rewards the top placed Suzuki privateers in each race respectively, regardless of their overall race position, just for racing championship-winning Suzukis."

Registration to the TSSR program is free, and riders can register multiple machines in different capacity classes with cash rewards available in both on and off road racing categories.

"This contingency program demonstrates Suzuki's commitment to assisting privateers - another example is the 2002 Worldwide GSX-R Cup in which young Victorian privateer Scott Charlton recently competed at France's Magny Cours circuit," said Mr Morison.

It is anticipated that the contingency program will cover road racing events including Superbikes, Supersport and Superstock, and off-road events such as MotoCross, SuperCross and Thumpernats at both state and national levels.
