| Local
rider Marc Nelson streaked away to an early lead in the first of the
SuperStock races, a class for up and coming C or D graded riders.
Fellow South Australian Daniel Toonen also got away to a great start in
the early laps and held off Victoria's Jason Cartledge for a couple of
laps before being overhauled. Jason Cartledge fell heavily on the
penultimate lap and looked to maybe have suffered a lower leg or ankle
injury after setting the fastest lap the previous time around the 2.6
kilometre circuit. Marc Nelson took a clear win by more than 10 seconds over 2nd placed Daniel Toonen, a South Australian 1-2.
