Clarke now has 1.4 seconds on Johnson, Scott Charlton in 3rd with
Jamie Stauffer right on his case, that battle for 3rd going on some 6
seconds behind the leading duo

increasing his lead over Johnson now, quite a few bike lengths the
gap. Scott Charlton up in to 3rd from Cameron Donald

Clarke took the lead
in to turn 1 that time and pulled a couple of tenths over Johnson on

rubbed shoulders down the main straight that time to start lap 6,
Cameron Donald in third from Deon Coote and Reece Bancell but that

pulls past Johnson on the back straight but Shannon again out-brakes
him to lead through turn 3, Clarke goes back under him and noses in
front, Johnson ahead again at turn 4

with Scott Charlton and Cameron Donald right on his case, Johnson and
Clarke have pulled 1.3 seconds out on their pursuers over the first
two laps

Clarke gets the run
on Shannon Johnson down the back straight but Shannon goes back past
under brakes to re-take the lead, Brent George out

Geronomi out-braked
himself at the end of the back straight and ran off in to the dirt
leaving Shannon Johnson to inherit the lead, Brendan Clarke up to 2nd
