Brendan Clarke quickly shot to the lead in the final 250 Production race of 2003 but Glenn Allerton was determined to prevent the Queenslander from running away with another seemingly easy win.  Clarke and Allerton went side by side down the main straight to start lap 2 but it was Allerton who held the lead in turn 1.  Dustin Goldsmith also right with them in 3rd, Jordan Coote 4th.

Allerton made a small mistake on the entry in to turn 9 which allowed Clarke to drive past him for the lead on the way out but Allerton got him in to turn 1.

Clarke got through for the lead in turn 4 on lap 3 and started to pull away.  Allerton then had to contend with Stalder and Goldsmith challenging him for position.  Stalder took 2nd place around the back of the circuit.

A frantic battle for 2nd then ensued with Stalder, Allerton, Coote, Quinn, Goldsmith and O'Shea all in the hunt and running nose-to-tail around the circuit.

While all the action was happening behind Clarke cruised to another easy win.  Allerton managed to finish 2nd after some pretty ragged riding on what looked like some seriously shagged tyres.  Stalder 3rd.
