2002 Provisional Formula Xtreme Tri-State Calendar

The provisional calendar for the 2002 Yamaha Xtreme Tri-State is as follows. The Tri-State has been expanded from five to six events for 2002. Unfortunately due to a date clash with the Shell sponsored ASC the Phillip Island event has had to have been cancelled as there was no other suitable date available from Phillip Island Motorsport. This has meant that instead of two events in Victoria there is only one for next year.

Terry O'Neill from Formula Xtreme Promotions said, "This is not the ideal calendar but it is what we have to work with for 2002. We had intended to release our calendar earlier but because of the unexpected problems and delays both AVESCO and Formula Xtreme Promotions faced in reviving the 2+4 concept we had to delay then reshuffle completely next years calendar.

"2002 even without the 2+4s is looking like being another fantastic year for Formula Xtreme and it's support categories with major growth expected in competitor numbers. A major TV package is soon to be announced." Concluded O'Neill.
