Alistair Maxwell got the jump off the line from John Allen. Mark Stanley got a great start to move straight up to 3rd.  John Allen stuck right with Maxwell and a few laps in to the race got past Alistair for the lead.  Maxwell got the lead back again with a couple of laps to go and cleared out from Allen who appeared to settle for 2nd on the drying track.
