Formula Xtreme race 2 up next, Robbie Baird again on the spare bike which is last year's R1 so he is behind the 8 ball as the 2002 bikes as ridden by Curtain, Coxhell and the Stauffer boys are a much improved beast

Coxhell leads through turn 1 but is quickly taken by Curtain, Dan Stauffer also through a couple of corners later, so Coxhell now 3rd, Brookes 4th

Curtain and Dan Stauffer pulling away a little again, Josh Brookes through on Coxhell for 3rd in a forceful pass in the double left

Daniel Stauffer the quickest man on lap 2 with a 1m10.8, Bairdy through on Coxhell for 3rd early on lap 3

Kevin Curtain quickest on lap 3 with a 1m10.63, Daniel also picked up the pace with a 1m10.70, these two are in a class of their own so far today

Curtain quicker again on lap 4, 1m10.46, Daniel recorded a 1m10.52

Jamie Stauffer through on Coxhell for 5th, then a short while later also through on Bairdy for 4th

Daniel Stauffer had a slide on to the main straight which lost him a little ground to Kev', Dan lost a second on that lap 5

Jamie Stauffer through on Brookes for 3rd at the left hander but Brookes got him back at the next corner

Daniel Stauffer in a clear 2nd and after that mistake dropped him off the back of Kevin Curtain seems to have buttoned it off a little as unless Curtain makes a mistake he has it won, Daniel maybe playing safe for 2nd now

Last lap, Jamie Stauffer again through on Brookes at the midfield left hander but Josh gets him at the final turn to take 3rd
