The Stauffer brothers dominated much of qualifying but Kevin Curtain burnt them off in the dying minutes of the final session to take pole. Jamie Stauffer likes this track though and has some new Michelins for this weekend which he said looks good and he expected to take the races to Kevin all weekend. Robbie Baird had the clutch bite home a bit hard and early which gave him a terrible start but Kevin Curtain and the Stauffer boys got away well, Coxhell 4th, Baird 5th, Brookes 6th. Nick Henderson and Roland Kruck fell at turn one but both came out relatively unscathed. Bairdy had recovered well from his terrible start to only be 1.2 seconds behind the leader at the end of lap but in fifth place with both Stauffer boys and his team-mate Craig Coxhell to get past if he is to challenge Curtain. Jamie and Daniel Stauffer both having the pace to match Kevin Curtain in the early laps, but this leading trio had broken away a little from the fourth and fifth placed Duo of Coxhell and Baird. Daniel Stauffer took the lead on lap 3 and immediately pulled out a couple of lengths on Curtain, Jamie in third. The leading trio all running 1m10s laps. Jamie Stauffer squeezed under Curtain for second on lap 4 to make it a Bio-Magnetic Sport 1-2, a fantastic achievement for the new team. Daniel and Jamie sprinted away from Curtain and started tussling between themselves for the lead, both riders under lap record pace with 1m10.3s laps. Craig Coxhell was also holding off Robbie Baird to keep his fourth place. Josh Brookes was further back in 6th and fighting to hold off a charging Tony Rees. The Bio-Magnetics boys had 1.7 seconds on Curtain with two laps to go but they were slowing each other up a little as Jamie challenges Daniel for the lead, they may be team-mates and they may be brothers but both really wanted the win and gave the Trinder brothers, their team bosses, some heart murmurs. Daniel took the win as Jamie crossed the line in a huge mono. Fantastic stuff from the Bio boys. Curtain, 3rd - "I gave it everything I had, I was out of the seat more than I was it I think. The Bio boys ran really well and congratulations to them." Jamie Stauffer, 2nd - "Daniel was riding really, I tried to get him on those last few laps but couldn't do it. The Bio-Magnetics Sport Yamaha and the Michelin tyres were working great." Daniel Stauffer, 1st -"Thanks to everyone in the team, we went so much faster in the races than we did in practice, so we will have to make some changes to set up for the rest of the races as it was getting a little slippery towards the end."
