John Allen and Mark Stanley got off the line well while Alistair Maxwell bogged down a little. That didn't stop Maxwell from taking the lead early on lap 1 though and quickly building a lead over the NSR 500V of John Allen.

Again it was Alistair Maxwell and John Allen lapping more than 3 seconds faster than the rest of the field and walking away out in front. Maxwell has the pace on Allen around Oran Park though and will build up his points lead. Alistair really want the 426 Yamaha dirt machine that is up for grabs for the series winner.

Alistair Maxwell held off a hot last lap challenge from Allen to take the win.
