• Peter Goddard down in to the gravel

• Neil Hodgson in to the lead, Troy Bayliss 2nd, Colin Edwards shifted back to 3rd

• Edwards back through for 2nd at turn 1 on lap 2

• Hodgson still in front as they start lap 3 but under lots of pressure from Edwards

• Lap 3 - Race order - Hodgson, Edwards, Bayliss, Rutter, Chili, Xaus, Haga ,Walker, Bostrom,. Toseland, Byrne. Richards. Lavilla, Borja, Martin

• Edwards in to the lead now, Hodgson 2nd, Bayliss 3rd

• Bayliss the fastest man on lap 5, Edwards still leading from Hodgson and Bayliss with 20 laps to run

• Lap 7 - Race order - Edwards, Hodgson, Bayliss, Chili, Xaus, Haga, Rutter, Bostrom, Walker, Toseland

• Bayliss takes Hodgson for 2nd but Edwards escaping a little out in front, can Troy respond ?

• Troy Bayliss really trying hard but he is not catching Edwards who now has nearly a two second lead

• 10 laps to run  - Race order - Edwards, Bayliss, Hodgson, Xaus, Chili, Bostrom, Haga, Walker, Cutter, Byrne

• Bayliss coming under increasing pressure from Hodgson, Bayliss looks to have plenty of grip problems and is riding very hard

• Edwards has a safe lead and unless anything untowards happens is on his way to a double, the gap is out to nearly 4 seconds

• Hodgson through on Bayliss for 2nd

• 6 laps to run - Edwards, Hodgson, Bayliss  Bostrom, Xaus, Haga, Chili, Walker, Rutter, Lavilla

• Bayliss back through on Hodgson for 2nd

• Bostrom, Xaus and Haga have had a race long titanic battle for 4th that will be waged all the way to the line

• Edwards takes a clear win from Bayliss
