Start from the bottom as uppermost text is last

  • SMS subscribers have the results on their mobile phones

  • Edwards, Hodgson, Haga is the current order in the battle for 2nd, Edwards gets the 2nd

  • Edwards laying big black lines now, even round 140mph turns he has the back hanging right out,  magic to watch

  • Haga in to 3rd past Hodgson,  Edwards, Haga, Hodgson all running nose-to-tail,  Bayliss has a safe win now if nothing goes wrong

  • Haga 2nd again, Edwards and Hodgson slipstream past him on the straight though,  relegating Haga to 4th with 2 laps to run

  • Edwards back in to 2nd

  • Haga past Edwards for 2nd,  Bayliss now over 3 seconds out in front

  • Edwards 2nd now with 4 laps to go, Haga 3rd, Hodgson 4th

  • Bayliss has a very clear lead now, over 2 seconds, Hodgson, Edwards and Haga still fighting between themselves for 2nd

  • Edwards back up to 2nd,  Bayliss sets another fastest lap and stretching his lead

  • Bayliss sets a new fastest lap and trying hard to stretch his gap, and succeeding..

  • Broc Parkes running in 8th, Steve Martin 12th, two-thirds race distance

  • Edwards relegates Hodgson to 4th, but the Brit' came right back at him and took his spot right back

  • Bayliss has gapped his pursuers by a couple of bike lengths as they fight between themselves for 2nd

  • Haga 2nd now, relegating Hodgson to 3rd

  • Haga through on Edwards for 3rd and sets the fastest lap of this race so far

  • Bayliss back in to the lead, Hodgson 2nd, Edwards 3rd, Haga has closed right up on the leading trio

  • Half race distance now; Edwards, Hodgson, Bayliss, Haga, Pedercini, Lavilla, E Bostrom, Walker, B Bostrom

  • Hodgson and Edwards both through on Bayliss

  • Edwards through on Hodgson before Ascari, Bayliss still in front and has pulled a couple of bike lengths on his pursuers

  • Hodgson tries to put a move on Bayliss in to the chicane but Bayliss is having none of it

  • The leading trio is the same as in race 1, Haga a bit further back in 4th but not challenging the front 3

  • Hodgson slipstreams past Edwards that time around down the main straight and took 2nd place on the entry in to the chicane

  • Chili and Toseland down and out!

  • Edwards the fastest man on lap 5, Bayliss, Edwards, Hodgson, Chili, Toseland, Haga, E Bostrom the race order

  • Bayliss leading from Edwards now

  • Hodgson got the lead from Bayliss at the Parabolica but not for long as the reigning world champion took the lead right back a couple of corners later.  Steve Martin and Broc Parkes 15th/16th

  • Xaus dumped it in the chicane

  • At the end of the pit straight Hodgson tried to out-brake Bayliss but the Aussie held his line in to the chicane

  • Bayliss led them around lap 1 from Hodgson and Chili, Edwards, Xaus and Ben Bostrom.

  • Off on the warm up lap now
