| Joshua Brookes and Kevin Curtain both got great starts but Brookes went around the outside of Curtain in turn 1 and was never headed in terribly windy conditions at
Eastern Creek today. Even though the conditions were certainly not condusive to fast time Brookes was only a single tenth outside the lap record with a 1m35.3 scorcher. Curtain was challenged for second a few times by Russell Holland, the Kawasaki pilots entries to turn 1 were amazing as he tipped in later and faster than all the others but Curtain had the speed to take second place. Clarke and Allerton had a titanic battle for 4th with Allerton getting the nod.Curtain's second place now extends his lead in the race for the title to 26 points over Clarke |
