Extract from our live transcript - It is time coded - Start from the bottom and read up

• 1657 - Krusty gets him between turn two and three, holds on to it through turn four, backmarkers!  They are running into traffic now, But they make it through, no Giles is blocked at MG which allows Krusty to get away and take the win.  Fergusson wins, Giles 2nd, Johnson 3rd, Henderson 4th, Greedy 5th, Cudlin 6th, Bugden 7th, Etheridge 8th. 
• 1656 - Giles still holding on to the lead, turn 11 and 12 once again, Krusty in the slipstream but that isn't enough as Shawn and the Suzuki hold on again as they start the last lap
• 1655 - Still Giles through turn 11, Shawn lights her up before tipping into 12, Krusty in his slipstream onto the main straight but Giles has the power and holds the advantage all the way to turn one and onwards. Krusty looks faster at most points of the circuit though and can run a tighter line. Still Giles at Siberia, Krusty right on his tail
• 1653 - Giles gets past Johnson and closes on the tail of Fergusson, onto the main straight they come, Giles in the slipstream will that Suzuki blow past, yes it does Giles takes the lead into turn one, Krusty nearly gets him back at turn 2 but Giles holds on
• 1652 - Henderson has pulled away from Greedy now and Cudlin had slotted past Greedy for fifth but is 3 seconds behind Henderson.
• 1651 - Krusty might disappear now as his fastest lap so far was a 1m35.8 while the best Shannon has managed thus far is 1m36.9 and Giles is on him and had put in a 1m36.2
• 1650 - Fergusson and Giles right on Johnson.  Jamie Stauffer has pulled off the racing line with some sort of problem. Krusty and Shannon touch elbows as they come on to the main straight and Fergusson gets the line into turn 1 to take the lead for the first time with five laps now to run in this opening Superbike shootout for the weekend
• 1648 - Fergusson had been in that front pack somewhere and was up to second by the time they got to MG on the second lap as they started to close some ground back to Shannon Johnson who had over a second on them at the end of the first lap.  As they started the third lap though he only has half a second on Fergusson. Giles in third, Jamie fourth, Hendo got the better of Greedy for fifth
• 1646 - Aussie Superbikes away now with Shannon Johnson out in front from Nick Henderson and jamie Stauffer.  Jamie gets Hendo into turn four and Gilesy gets him on the way out to push him back to fourth by Siberia. Judd Greedy then pushes Hendo back to fifth under brakes at MG while Gilesy closes on the tail of Jamie but out in front Shannon Johnson has already disappeared!
