Benn Archibald started from pole
and capitalised on that position to lead the field away while
Simon Rattenbury got the better of John Allen early on before
the Queenslander hit his stride and pulled away. Rattenbury then drifted back in to the clutches of Jon Cartwright and Michael Shaw with Cartwright scoring the final podium position. Rattenbury fourth, Shaw fifth, this trio were only covered by a couple of tenths. Allen closed within striking distance of Archibald on the final lap but couldn't manage to take the win and had to settle for second once again. Archibald led the series by 102 points, 22 more than team-mate John Allen. Results |
