1644 - Stop the press! - Jamie Stauffer just managed to sneak in to the 70 second bracket to go quickest just as the chequered flag was coming out to end the session.
1643 - Giles has just sneaked under Dan's earlier time now by a couple of hundredths. As far as I could see Dan did not bother going out in that final practice session at all.
1636 - Giles fastest so far in this session with a 71.1 but Dan went faster earlier on in the day

1625 - Superbikes heading out on track now for their final practice, weather fine and warm, reasonable breeze
1555 - Superstock pilots on track for their final practice for the day now then next up is the Nakedbikes

1540 - Supersports wrapping up their final practice for the day now. Robbie Baird quickest in this final session but Josh Waters' earlier time is quickest for the day from Russell Holland's early time and Adam Fergusson's earlier time. Full Combined Times soon

1415 - Session ending now, Stauffer's 71.0 still the best with those aforementioned times also remaining to make it Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha in this session. The next best is Jamie Stauffer's Kawasaki which is only 3-tenths behind fourth placed Johnson, Henderson also doing well in sixth only a tenth of Jamie
1411 - Dan Stauffer quickest thus far with only a couple of minutes remaining in this session with a 71.0. Gilesy 71.1, Fergusson 71.2, Johnson 71.3.

1343 - The start of the afternoon session has been delayed a little due to one of the Ultralites riders breaking their collarbone. He was okay and attended to quickly and they were going to wait for an ambulance to get to the circuit before transporting him to hospital but due to the lunch break they decided to shoot him off to hospital in the ambulance we had at the circuit so we are now waiting for a replacement ambulance to come to the circuit and the delay is not expected to be too long. We believe the injured rider is Wayne Jeanneret.

1314 - I reckon this look horn enough for Honda to consider doing a HRA Replica Fireblade, especially if they scoop the Superbike Championship which at this stage of the game looks nearly a fait accompli. 1227 - The second Supersport session has finished up now with Waters' 73.3 standing at the top of the table thus far today
1224 - Image of Krusty's bike with grass and sand adornments
1216 - Josh Waters fastest thus far in this session with a 73.3 just ahead of Krusty who sits on a 73.4. Krusty also just went down for a slide through the dry grass and sand. He remounted to ride the back bike back to the pits, the damage looked mainly cosmetic but all the fairings were buggered

1052 - Went down to pitlane for that session so no time updates throughout but the session has wrapped up now and Adam Fergusson stopped the clocks with a 71.3 to be quickest but a lot of the guys having problems getting the power down out there. Shannon Johnson second quickest with a 71.4, Dan also on a 71.4, Gilesy next quickest 72.0

1025 - Full Results from Ultralites First Practice
1021 - The Ultralites session is wrapping up now, Munn quickest with a 80.5 ahead of Eckersley on an 82.4. Big difference and slow times, Brendan Clarke's 250 Production lap record is a full two seconds quicker. But this is only first practice so hopefully they pick up the pace
1013 - Breeze has started to pick up a little now, not too strong but definitely enough to notice

0945 - Superstockers well into their session now, Jones the leader with a 78.1 ahead of Figueiredo and Reed
0935 - Full Results from Supersport First Practice
0930 - That first Supersport practice has wrapped up now with Russell Holland recording the quickest time, 73.4. Next best is Adam Fergusson on a 73.5 followed by Brendan Clarke with a 73.8 and Jamie Stauffer on a 74.1. Full results shortly, Superstock out next
0915 - Supersports on track, Holland the early leader with a 73.9 from Fergusson on 74.3 and Clarke on 74.4. Half the session still remaining
0844 - Was quite nippy out here this morning but the sun has come out now and we have a clear sky , but the most amazing thing is that there is no breeze here as yet. That would have to be a first for Queensland Raceway as we often get quite a stiff breeze out here. Actually while the weather forecast is fine for the remainder of the weekend there are strong breezes expected according to the weather bureau. Track looks clean and the Supersport riders are out first up for their first practice session which should be getting underway shortly
0730 - Well we are here set up to bring you the news live from Queensland Raceway today. Not so fresh off the plane after another delightful red-eye trip from Perth, on the plane late last night in Perth to fly in to Brisbane at 0600 this morning. Then straight out to the track and here we are. I must say Brisbane is looking very dry indeed, all the way out to the track was only brown rather than green. They really must need some rain out here, funny really after some of the downpours I have been caught in around these parts and indeed even out here at Queensland Raceway. I am off for a walk around now to say g'day to a few people then I will be back with some news.
