Castrol Honda Red Rider Cody
Cooper continued his top form by winning the Bay of Plenty’s
Junior Sportsman of the Year Award, held at the Rotorua
Convention Centre on the 12th of February. Given the number of top young sports people in the Bay of Plenty and the nominees from sports as diverse as mountain biking and cricket, this award is a reflection of the huge effort that Cody has put in over the past year.
Castrol Honda Red Rider Race Team
Manager Dave Borlase said: “We are delighted for Cody personally
and also excited about the fact that a motocross rider and his
achievements have been recognised at this level. I have seen
Cody go from strength to strength, both as a person and as a
rider. While the award recognises Cody’s success, credit must go
to individuals whose input has been critical to Cody’s success
to date. Individuals such as Shayne King, Darren Henderson,
Richard Adamson and Glen “Jimmy” Maccartney who have all
contributed hugely to Cody’s success.” |
