Reardon got away extremely well and immediately pulled away to a huge lead by the end of the first lap.  While Jye Harvey, Jono Porter, Toby Price and Cody Cooper tripped each other up throughout the first lap which allowed Reardon to pull the escape act. By lap two things had started to settle down a bit with Reardon the clear leader from Jye Harvey and Jono Porter.  The top five riders in this semi go through to the main event and as they got the last lap board it was Reardon, Harvey, Porter, Cooper and Price.  On the final lap Harvey got the better of Porter for second place but the remaining places stayed the same at they got the chequered flag.

Sinclair again with a great run off the line but got loose in the stutters which allowed Jason McGuinness through for the lead to continue the form of privateers shown thus far in the Pro Lites series this year. McGuinness succumbed to Sinclair late on lap two while Broomfield also started to pile on the pressure. Ryan Marmont had a shocker of a start but had moved up to fourth place by lap three, while Broomfield got the better of McGuinness for second. Broomfield then started to challenge Sinclair for the lead, he made a pass stick on lap four of the six lap race.  Paul Broomfield pulled away as they got the last lap board while Marmont started to close on Sinclair for second place, but the Kawasaki privateer just managed to hold on to his second position as they crossed the finish line.

Pro Lite Semi 2 - 1. Broomfield - 2. Sinclair - 3. R Marmont - 4. McGuinness - 5. Macdermid - 6. Rochford - 7. Thompson - 8. Parson - 9. Leech - 10. Mackie

In the second junior race Wade Thompson came down early while Ford Dale romped away out in front.  At the end of lap one Thompson was way down in seventh place, at least 100 metres behind the race leader.  Matt Moss was holding down second place from Glen Chapman as they started lap three while Thompson worked his way up to fifth place.  As they got the last lap board it was still Dale in front from Moss, while Thompson moved up to third.  Lawson Bopping had a big off but looked okay.  Ford Dale took the win from Moss by the narrowest of margins, Thompson got third.
