The first Pro Open semi got away to a clean start with Danny Ham at the front of the pack.  The Suzuki pilot took advantage of the clear track to pull away to a convincing lead by the end of the first lap. Giving chase was Cameron Taylor.  Matt McKenna on the Husqvarna was running third. Scott Bishop got the better of McKenna for third place late on the second lap, while Taylor started to close on race leader Danny Ham. This pair had pulled a significant gap over their pursuers by the start of lap four. Ham then made a mistake in the whoops section which basically stopped him dead, Taylor slotted straight past for the lead. Ham got back past Taylor early on the final lap, Taylor tried a block pass at the final turn but Ham held on to take a narrow win.

Pro Open Semi 1 - 1. Ham - 2. Taylor - 3. Bishop - 4. McKenna - 5. Surawski - 6. Surawski - 7. Cook - 8. Williamson - 9. Ivers

Next up was the second Pro Open semi and Robbie Marshall was the early leader from Cheyne Boyd. Carmichael and and Hibberd were running third and fourth.  A mistake from Boyd cost him dearly on lap three when he went from second place and challenging for the lead, down to fourth place nearly five seconds behind the leader. Boyd got back up to third place on the penultimate lap while Marshall had established a clear lead out in front, Carmichael in second place. Marshall took the win from Craig Carmichael while Boyd salvaged the final podium spot.

Pro Open Semi 2 - 1. Marshall - 2. Carmichael - 3. Boyd - 4. Hibberd - 5. Brochtrup - 6. Ellis - 7. Caslick - 8. Howley - 9. Scanlan - 10. Soccoccio
