With all the minor events out of the way it was time for another show by the freestyle boys before the juniors headed out for their final race as an opener to what the crowd had come for, the Pro Lite and Pro Open main events.

Wade Thompson went down at the first jump and this time it was a fairly hard fall which knocked the stuffing out of him a bit.  There to take up the mantle out front was Justin Carafa with Ford Dale right on his tail.  Running in third place was Matt Moss with Gianni Dalle-Molle also running strongly.  Ford Dale got the better of Carafa for the lead early on the third lap.  Late on the next lap Matt Moss closed right on to Carafa to challenge for second place and Moss tried a block pass at the final turn but he didn't make it stick as Carafa barged through it to stamp his authority on that second place.  Ford Dale then came together with Dean Hibberd on the final lap as he lapped him which cost him the win but he managed to remount and salvage second place.  Dalle-Molle got third while Moss recovered from his mistake to take fourth place.  The overall win on the night on the points tally across the three races though was Ford Dale.

Juniors Race 3 - 1. Carafa - 2. Dale - 3. Dalle-Molle - 4. M Moss - 5. Bopping - 6. Paech - 7. Thompson - 8. Chapman - 9. Carter - 10. George - 11. J Moss

The Pro Lite main was shaping up as an absolute thriller and it looked as though the win could go to any one of more than five riders who had been running a hot pace here tonight.  Mitch Hoad got the holeshot but it was Ryan Marmont that came out of the first turn in the lead, and by the end of the first lap Ryan had built a solid lead over Cameron Sinclair.  Daniel Reardon was running a good third place but on lap three started to come under attack from fellow Kawasaki pilot Paul Broomfield.  Daniel McCoy had a shocker of a first lap but started to make a little progress forward with a few laps under his belt.  KTM, Kawasaki, Kawasaki, Kawasaki was the running order as they started lap four.  Bronte Holland had a big off that looked as though it would put him out of the race but the young Victorian tried time after time to kick his Honda back in to life, he finally succeeded after what seemed like hours but in reality was only a couple of minutes, obviously determined to finish no matter what.

Ryan Marmont continued to lead the Kawasaki horde as they reached one-third race distance.  Jye Harvey and Daniel McCoy were having a hearty battle over fifth place.  Daniel Reardon then went down which let Harvey through for fourth.  Daniel McCoy nearly got through also but got messed up on the whoops which cost him some time, McCoy just not having a good run of luck thus far in this series.  Ryan continued out in front and was the fastest runner on the track, by half race distance in the 15 lap event Ryan had started to lap slower riders.  Cody Cooper then pushed McCoy back to sixth place to add more salt to Yamaha's injury.  Cooper then pulled away from McCoy and started to challenge Harvey.

Out in front and running smooth and controlled was Ryan Marmont, scything his way through the lapped traffic.  Paul Broomfield started to pressure Sinclair for second place with a couple of laps to go.

Last lap board for Ryan Marmont and one of only two 125cc two-strokes in the field is the one that receives it ahead of the horde of new breed 250cc four-strokes.  The action on the final lap was between Cody Cooper and Cameron Sinclair as the Honda rider forcefully tried to stake his claim for a spot on the podium.  And Cooper was successful as he got Sinclair on the line for third.

Pro Lite Main Event - 1. R Marmont - 2. Broomfield - 3. Cooper - 4. Sinclair - 5. Harvey - 6. Hoad - 7. McCoy - 8. Reardon - 9. Price - 10. Johnson - 11. Macdermid - 12. Porter - 13. Reynolds - 14. Holland

Next out was the big one, the Pro Open final.  Can KTM make it a double ?

It certainly looked that way during the early stages of lap one as Marmont and Boyd were running 1-2 but Boydy went down under the bridge trying to ensure he didn't come together with his team-mate but the Victorian was up and at it in no time and in third place.  Dorron was the one to capitalise on his mistake though and as you would expect was keen to ensure Marmont could not get away.  Running a strong fourth was Danny Ham while next up was Yamaha's Cameron Taylor.

Quarter of the race distance down and it was still Marmont, Dorron and Boyd the class of the field.  Dorron not losing ground on Marmont but Boyd was starting to threaten the Honda rider as the laps progressed.  Danny Ham not to be counted out of the equation either.  Matt McKenna putting in a brilliant ride to hold down sixth place behind Cameron Taylor at this stage of the race.

Boyd then got the better of Dorron and a lap later Danny Ham also got the better of him.  Lots of lapped traffic for the leaders now at the halfway stage of the race but Marmont, Boyd, Ham and Dorron picking their way through carefully.  Jay made a small mistake on the bridge up-ramp which allowed Boydy to close right on his tail as the boys put Mick Cook a lap down.

Five laps to run and it was still Marmont leading Boyd but Marmont looking the stronger of the two at this stage of the race after Boyd made a couple of tiny errors which just cost him a metre here and there. But then Jay also made a small mistake which allowed Boydy to pull back a couple of metres.  Ham a clear third place at this stage of the race while Cameron Taylor managed to relegate Dorron to fifth position.

Jay then pulled a huge gap on the penultimate lap and has a strong 4-second lead as they got the last lap board.  Jay took his time to style it up for the crowd a little in the final lap on his way to another strong win.  Boyd second, Ham an impressive third ahead of Cameron Taylor.

Pro Open Main Event - 1. Marmont - 2. Boyd - 3. Ham - 4. Taylor - 5. Dorron - 6. Marshall - 7. Carmichael - 8 . McKenna - 9. Hibberd - 10. Bishop - 11. Brochtrup - 12. Cook - 13. Klasen - 14. Surawski - 15. Ellis
