Juniors – Race 2 - The juniors were out again next and this time Wade Thompson made sure he was not left behind at the start, the Mount Gambier teenager quickly led the way from Ford Dale and Gianni Dalle-Molle.

But Thompson was not to get it all his own way as Dalle-Molle was determined to pressure him all the way. By half race distance Dalle-Molle had got the better of Thompson for the lead. Matt Moss also got the better of Thompson to take second place.

Pro Lite LCQ - After a short intermission the Pro Lites riders who had not yet secured a spot in the final headed out for their Last Chance Qualifier. Four riders went down at turn one while out in front was Cameron Sinclair, the Kawasaki rider had proven very strong in his earlier heat race before a mistake pushed him way down the field as his machine refused to start. This was his chance to make amends.

The up-ramp to the bridge again proved troublesome with a number of riders ending up on their posterior as their machines simply refused to drive up the ramp in the slippery conditions. Cameron Sinclair and Jye Harvey quickly established themselves as the front runners. Bradleigh Thompson then lost drive on the up-ramp and slid sideways off the edge, falling uninjured. Harvey got the better of Sinclair for the lead and built a small gap but Sinclair came right back at him on the next lap.

Then two riders came down on the up-ramp as one rider flipped it over backwards causing another one to fall, the riders played to the hard core crowd by throwing their arms in the air and the crowd joined in by voicing their appreciation. A reported 8,000 tickets had been pre-sold for this event and the crowd turnout was amazing considering the terribly inclement weather. Wollongong has some hard core Supercross fans!

Sinclair went on to take the win from Harvey with Justin Girotto squeezing in to third place after a good ride.

Pro Lite LCQ – Results – 1.Sinclair - 2.Harvey - 3.Girotto - 4.Thompson S - 5.Thompson B - 6.Jacobs - 7.Parson

Pro Open LCQ – Barry Surawski was the early leader in the Pro Open LCQ before he struggled on the top of the bridge. Matt McKenna on the Husqvarna then started to come on strong and moved up to third place.

Meanwhile Nathan Brochtrup took over out in front. A rider then looped out his machine on the tip of the up-ramp and stood on the top with his machine hung up on the railing, flag marshals struggled to walk to the top of the ramp in an effort to help remove his machine from the railing.

Brochtrup took the win from Klasen while McKenna hung on third position to become the final qualifier for the Pro Open final. At the end of the race marshals were still struggling to unhook the bike stuck on the railing at the bridge.
