Pro Lite Final – After all the playing in the mud the night then got down to serious business for the Pro Lite final. With Reardon failing to qualify this was Ryan Marmont’s chance to extend his championship lead to a significant margin. But Marmont would have his work cut out for him in his quest for the race win tonight, New Zealand’s Cody Cooper had shown great speed earlier in the afternoon on his way to winning a heat race.

Right from the word go it was Cooper and Marmont up front but Ryan fell on the up-ramp and slid to the bottom. The same fate befell Greg Schnell who sat halfway up the up-ramp with the rear tyre smoking with wheelspin before he slid backwards to the bottom, where Daniel McCoy then joined him a few seconds later. Ryan eventually got going again, as did Schnell, but McCoy was kicking his Yamaha for minutes in what seemed to be a vain effort to get his machine to burst back in to life. Eventually McCoy was pushed from the track where he continued to kick his machine on the sidelines as other riders put him lap after lap down.

Cody Cooper then put Ryan Marmont a lap down as the race became nearly farcical. Jay Johnston was again reveling in the slippery conditions to run in a strong second place.

Ryan Marmont then had a small crash in the whoops section, he quickly kicked his machine back in to life and got going again.  Every point could make the difference to whether the Wollongong teenager lifts the Pro Lite title this year, or not.

Toby Price ran in third place for most of the race before being pushed back to fourth by Jye Harvey. The star of tonight though was obviously Cody Cooper who dominated in the trying conditions while Jay Johnston also proved a master of the mud.  Cooper celebrated with a heel-clicker across the final jump as he took the win.

Pro Open Final – Troy Dorron and Danny Ham got away well but Ham fell on the first jump section while Jay Marmont quickly worked his way past Dorron for the lead. Cheyne Boyd then immediately closed on to the tail of Dorron while Troy Carroll also started to threaten.

Jay Marmont started to pull away to a significant lead while the battle for second was being waged between Dorron, Boyd and Carroll.

Jay set the pace out front and lapped rider after rider, he had lapped Cameron Taylor and Danny Ham by halfway through the race.

Dorron managed to pull away from Boyd who in turn gained an advantage over Carroll. But as the race reached it’s closing stages Carroll started to threaten Boyd for third place just as Jay Marmont received the last lap board. But Jay went on to take an impressive win in front of the home crowd, Dorron second while Boyd responded to Carroll's challenge and secured the final podium position.

Pro Open Final – Results - 1.Marmont – 2.Dorron – 3.Boyd – 4.Carroll – 5.Marshall - 6.Schnell - 7.Ellis - 8.Taylor - 9.Hibberd- 10.Brochtrup - 11.McKenna - 12.Ham - 13.Williams - 14.Cook - 15.Klasen
