Time for the big boys to play. Local boy Scott Bishop gets the hole shot from Taylor, Scanlon and Marmont. Marmont moves from 4th to 1st in two precise moves to take the lead ½ way around the 1st lap. Taylor makes a move on Bishop, not wanting Marmont to get away. 1st and 2nd are pulling a gap with Marmont recording a 29.7 and stretching a lead over Taylor, then fresh air back to third. Marmont a convincing and focused winner from Taylor, Marshall and Bishop. |

Boyd passes McKenna with Ham in Pursuit. Carroll and Dorron have pulled a gap on third, Dorron needs to a big night to prevent Marmont from taking the championship. Ham puts in a 29.6 on the Suzuki and moves up to 4th. Carroll takes it from Dorron Boyd and Ham |
