Stoner got away well to lead the field around for the first couple of laps before Lorenzo got the better of him. Dovizioso, Locatelli, Giansanti and Barbera then joined the party as a group of six broke away from the rest of the field.

The place changes were happing thick and fast Lorenzo was a key player before he went down at the halfway point of the race. Then there was five...

On the last lap the top five was led by Dovizioso and Stoner but the win could have been anyone's, Stoner took the lead again halfway around the lap, Barbera and Dovizioso then pushed him down to third, Stoner back up to second, Barbera led the way in to the final turn, Stoner tried the outside then switched to the inside but Barbera held on for the win.  Another thriller!
