Broc Parkes - "What can I say? I’m
gutted! I’ve got the best team around me. I have the best bike
to ride. I managed to go through all the pre-season testing, the
practice and qualifying without crashing, then three laps into
the first race of the season I hit the deck. "We all knew that the track was slippery and although I was out the front, I was taking it easy. I was feeling really comfortable and didn’t think that I did anything different on that third lap, but the back let loose and the high-side followed. "No doubt if you saw the TV
coverage, you will have seen me looking a bit lost, I just
couldn’t believe that it happened. No points from the first
race, is not a good way to start a Championship campaign! I’m
just going to have to make sure that I do my best to make up for
it throughout the rest of the season and especially at Philip
Island. Can’t explain I disappointed I am for everybody around
me and to be honest, myself." |
