• 0932 - Last lap now and O'Halloran is catching Staring.... They run down the straight and O'Halloran tries to slipstream for the on track win but Staring has it by a nose, 0.020 of a second in fact so the on track win to Staring but in the final wash up after penalties are applied I believe it will be O'Halloran, Stauffer, Crowe, Holland, Waters, Jones, Johnson, Maxwell, Tomassetti.  A new fastest lap of the race to O'Halloran on the final lap, a 36.886 to the young New South Wales rider. He obviously knows about the jump start penalty as he is making it clear to all the crowd that he is the winner and certainly savoring the moment
• 0931 - Staring again fastest on the next lap, his lead half a second now, Jamie Stauffer still engaged in battle with teammate O'Halloran. Jeremy Crowe is in fourth place 2.7 seconds back with a gap over Holland and Waters then a long way back to Jones and Johnson
• 0930 - Staring escaping now... Perhaps the Yamaha men have been informed that he has a jump start penalty and thus no point arguing over position with him, but maybe also that Staring is just out pacing them!  A 36.95 to the Pirelli shod Honda on that last lap to better both the Dunlop shod Yamaha men...
• 0927 - Jamie around the outside of O'Halloran at Lukey to move up to second place... He is a couple of bike lengths behind Staring through turns 11 and 12 but O'Halloran comes back at him and Jamie is back to third in turn one... Still Bryan in front, backing his Honda in ludicrously sideways into turn four every lap, he doesn't want to give this one away... But I fear he will as I believe he has been given a jump start penalty, despite the fact that he was on pole and got a terrible start, I didn't see it but imagine he must have jumped and then stopped again but once jumped, your done
• 0926 - A 36.943 to Jamie and he is right on the leading pair now, he reeled them in hand over fist on that last lap and it will only be a matter of time before he stamps his dominance.  Staring sideways one way and the other into turn four in his quest to hold the Yamaha men off but gathers it up and still in front... Jamie will pick his moment...
• 0925 - Staring the quickest man on lap three with a 37.335... Jamie catching them on this lap though and this will certainly be a new fastest lap to Jamie when they cross the line this time around....
• 0924 - Staring right on the pipe of O'Halloran through turns 11 and 12... Down the straight they go and the Yamaha looked to have the horsepower advantage but Staring was the bravest into turn one and took the inside line and with it the lead in the race. The WA youngster ran a little wide out of turn two but gathered it up and maintains the lead...
• 0923 - Staring having a go now! He made second place his from fourth in the space of half a lap and it closing on O'Halloran.  Jamie the quickest man on the circuit though... A 38.032 to the champ on lap two and in fifth place.  Staring and O'Halloran swapping paint now
• 0922 - Waters up to second place on the GSX-R and chasing O'Halloran. Staring in fourth and looking dangerous... And he is!  Staring takes third place from Crowe, Jamie Stauffer working his way up now, through on Holland
• 0921 - Yamaha, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Honda the order at the moment with the main battle looking to unfold between Crowe and O'Halloran for the lead. Jamie Stauffer suffered a poor start but he is now on the back of the Honda men in sixth place and looking to make his move...
• 0920 - And they are away, Staring failed to capitalise on his pole position and it is two Yamaha men that lead the field through turn one for the first time, Josh Waters right up there also on the Suzuki
• 0919 - Supersport men forming up on the grid now in readiness for a race start
• 0902 - Track inspection now and then Aussie Supersport / Superstockers up for their first race of the weekend
