  • 1655 - Jamie takes the win, Coxhell did his best but Dan responded to the challenge to secure yet another Yamaha 1-2, Coxhell a great third place in a welcome return to form, Johnson fourth and followed home by Maxwell, Giles, Bugden, Staring, Fergusson, Charlton, Allerton, Holland, Gobert, Roe, Fraser, Gurowski
  • 1654 - Coxhell only 2-tenths quicker than Dan on the penultimate lap so the gap down to 8-tenths, Coxhell will have to do something special on this last lap...
  • 1653 - Only a second between Dan Stauffer and Craig Coxhell now and two laps to run.. Coxhell was half a second quicker on that previous lap so it is possible...
  • 1652 - Jamie has this one in the bag and I imagine Team Yamaha will be warning Daniel that Coxhell is closing in on him, I am sure Daniel has enough left in reserve to make his place safe but if he gets surprised their could be an upset...
  • 1651 - Maxwell and Bugden tussling hard over fifth place.  Coxhell only 1.6 seconds behind Dan Stauffer with three laps to run....
  • 1649 - Three laps to run and the order is Jamie, Dan, Coxhell, Johnson, Bugden, Maxwell, Holland, Giles, Fergusson, Staring, Charlton. Only four seconds covers the riders from third to 11th....  Coxhell has the advantage though in that group and looks a fairly safe third place unless Johnson pulls out something special on the Kawasaki
  • 1648 - Bugden has hit the nitrous button and passes Maxwell and Holland.... Maxwell passes Holland now...
  • 1647 - Shannon Johnson passes Holland for fourth place. Giles could have some brake dramas, he looks to be struggling to pull his Suzuki up
  • 1646 - Shannon Johnson and Adam Fergusson stepping up their pace now and starting to challenge Giles... Johnson underneath the Suzuki man to take fifth place, nothing separates the riders running 4-5-6-7-8-9, the protagonists in order Holland/Johnson/Giles/Fergusson/Bugden/Maxwell
  • 1645 - Coxhell up to third now after squeezing past Holland. Giles right with them also, Johnson and Fergusson not much further behind...
  • 1643 - 22.119 to Jamie this time around compared to a 22.922 to Dan, Jamie's lead now 1.4 seconds.  Holland a further 2.4 seconds behind in third place but Coxhell all over him now...
  • 1642 - 22.286 to Jamie, just outside the lap record. Coxhell pushes Giles back to fifth, Allerton and Fergusson right in that mix also
  • 1641 - Holland up to third.... Standby for a new race lap record from Jamie...
  • 1640 - Jamie through now though, the Yamaha duo now have nearly a second over third placed Giles who in turn has half a second on Holland and Coxhell
  • 1639 - Jamie makes a move on Dan around the fast left hander but runs a little wide and Dan maintains the lead
  • 1638 - Yamaha 1-2 again now, Dan from Jamie, Giles third, Holland fourth, Coxhell doing better in this bout and running fifth ahead of Allerton, Fergusson, Staring, Johnson, Charlton, Bugden, Maxwell
  • 1637 - A 27.8 to Shawn from a standing start but Dan right with him as they start lap two... Dan gets Shawn at the entry to the tight back section, Jamie immediately on Shawn too to make it a double attack but Shawn holds Jamie off for now, Holland fourth
  • 1636 - Gilesy away first into turn one, Dan Stauffer second, Holland third, Jamie Stauffer fourth, Shawn trying to make an early break...

  • 1544 - The early order is O'Halloran, Stauffer, Crowe, Waters, Staring, Holland, Seaton, Maxwell, Greedy, Jones.
  • 1543 - This race has been reduced to 14 laps due to the delays we have suffered today, two riders own in this one in the tight back section but far enough off the track just in time to prevent this race being stopped...

  • 1508 - Henry takes the win!  He wins by a second over Carr and Cowie while Hern recovered to salvage fourth ahead of Nicholson, Riddle, Reid, Yates, Durie, Darby, Roche, Griffin, Keevers, Madigan, Anset, Chapman, Robinson, Harding
  • 1506 - Charles Hern runs straight on at turn one while challenging Carr for second place and gets shuffled down the field a little.  Henry has broken away out in front now, last lap and unless he makes a mistake Henry will be the winner, Cowie challenging Carr for second place on this final lap
  • 1504 - Tight battle for the lead between Henry and Carr, Henry edged ahead but had a near huge highside but regained his exposure without losing too much ground... Hern third, Cowie fourth, Nicholson fifth
  • 1501 - Ben Henry moving forward to second place now but a slight possibility he might have made one move under yellow, has happened a couple of times here today where a green flag is shown at one flag point while a yellow is still out at another... Confusing for all I am sure...
  • 1500 - Superstock Race Two underway now and Brayden Carr the early leader from Tim Cowie, Charles Hern and Ben Henry
  • 1450 - The second Superstock race got underway but half a dozen riders went down a turn one bringing the red flag out, all riders up and okay

  • 1438 - Dan a dominant winner to break Jamie's long string of wins, Jamie second, Giles third, Allerton fourth, Charlton a well ridden fifth, Maxwell sixth, Bugden seventh, Staring eighth, Johnson ninth, Coxhell tenth, Holland eleventh, Fergusson twelfth
  • 1437 - Giles looks safe for third... Shannon Johnson making a charge on Staring to try and steal eighth on this final circuit, Bugden just in front of that pair and also under threat...
  • 1436 - Giles looks to have the late race pace to make that final step on the podium his, only two laps to run. All remaining races today will be shortened by two laps for the minor classes and three laps less for the Supersport and Superbike classes
  • 1434 - Dan leads by 4 seconds now, Jamie a safe second place 6 seconds ahead of Giles.  Allerton struggling to challenge Giles for that third place as the Suzuki man responds to the challenge and increases his buffer, Charlton a few bike lengths further behind
  • 1432 - Coxhell through on Maxwell for sixth place now.... But then into turn one he out brakes himself and has to run on... Coxhell drops down to around tenth place due to that mistake
  • 1431 - Giles was held up by lapped traffic on the entry to the tight back trio of turns which allows Allerton to close right on his tail... Charlton with him, that trio running virtually nose to tail now...
  • 1430 - Dan now leads by 3.14 seconds over Jamie. Allerton reduces the gap to Giles again, Charlton no far behind that pair.  The Yamaha 1-2 is almost certain but the final step on the podium will see a hectic battle unfold in the final laps. Six laps to run...
  • 1428 - Gilesy managed to pull out a couple of bike lengths over Allerton that time around after putting in his fastest lap of the race thus far and the effort is obvious with his body language on the GSX-R. Staring has got ahead of Holland to move up to ninth place. Coxhell is closing on Maxwell to challenge for sixth place
  • 1427 - Dan increases his buffer to 2.7 seconds. Allerton only 3-tenths from Giles now...
  • 1425 - Dan maintaining his 2.5 second lead over Jamie. Allerton again marginally quicker than Giles, the gap down to 8-tenths, Charlton coming with Allerton. Coxhell and Bugden tussling hard over seventh place while Wayne Maxwell has some breathing space in sixth
  • 1424 - 10 laps to run and the order is Dan, Jamie, Shawn Giles, Glenn Allerton, Scott Charlton, Wayne Maxwell, Craig Coxhell, Robbie Bugden, Russell Holland, Shannon Johnson, Bryan Staring, Adam Fergusson, Michael Fraser
  • 1423 - 22.7 to both Yamaha men this time around, Dan responding to Jamie's challenge and matching him lap for lap to maintain his 2.5 second lead. Allerton again quicker than Giles to reduce the margin to 1.2 seconds
  • 1422 - Dan and Jamie both ran 23.0 on that last lap, the gap between them 2.5 seconds... 12 laps to run.. Allerton 1.7 seconds behind Giles but Allerton 3-tenths quicker on that last lap and closing, Charlton perhaps coming with him also
  • 1421 - Wayne Maxwell showing some great form, just got past Holland and Coxhell in the space of a single lap
  • 1419 - Jamie trying to put a pass on Giles, the Yamaha has great acceleration off the tight turn onto the second last straight and that gives him the run on Giles and takes second place. Jamie immediately pulls away from Giles as though he was standing still!
  • 1418 - Allerton gets the better of Holland to move up to fifth place. Jamie the quickest man on the track now with a 23.1 to close to within striking distance of Giles.  Allerton all over Coxhell now...
  • 1417 - Dan Stauffer a 23.45 on lap two, Jamie also in the 23s with a 23.83, Giles in second place put down a 24.05.  Race order now is Dan, Shawn, Jamie, Craig, Russell, Glenn, Shannon
  • 1416 - Jamie Stauffer has possible undertaken under a yellow flag, some uncertainty...  Anthony Gobert runs on at turn one but remains upright. Jamie through on Coxhell now to move up to third position.  Dan getting away from Shawn now, Jamie looking to make his way forward to continue the Yamaha 1-2 form from round one
  • 1415 - Dan Stauffer to the lead now, Dan and Gilesy breaking away from Coxhell and Holland
  • 1414 - Gilesy gets the holeshot!  Coxhell launches well too to shoot straight up to third place, Dan Stauffer second.  Matt Battista down at turn one
  • 1413 - Superbikes getting ready for a race start
  • 1329 - Apparently the other rider caused the red flag and not Fox so Fox will keep his second place, so Houwen the winner, Fox second, Greentree third followed by McClue, Knox, Stafford, Ward, Moulton, McKenzie, Olson, Shields, Frost, Mills, Magee, Marsh, Wootton
  • 1328 - Josh Houwen is the winner however I am certain of that and second place may go to Keith Greentree and third place to Ewan McClue
  • 1326 - Jump start penalties have also been handed down against Magee and McKenzie. Race has been declared now, positions will go back a lap and the rider that caused the red flag will be taken from the result.
  • 1325 - Two riders down, one in the entrance to the tight back section and one on the second last straight. Machines stranded in the middle of the circuit at both locations so we have the red flag out again. One of the fallers was second placed Jack Fox.
  • 1322 - Five laps to run and Houwen leads by 3.3 seconds over Jack Fox who in turn has 3 seconds on Keith Greentree, Ewan McClue fourth then Chris Knox, Joel Stafford, Peter Ward, Beau McKenzie
  • 1318 - We are away again now, Houwen the early leader. Munn fell at turn one.
  • 1310 - Jade Durling one of the riders down and we will have yet another delay to push us even further behind schedule. The riders are okay and the bikes now being cleared. The lunch break has been cancelled to try and catch up some time but even then we will still be a long way behind schedule
  • 1308 - Well we didn't even manage to complete the first lap as two riders went down at turn one!
  • 1307 - The FZ6 Cup race is about to get underway. Josh Houwen will be a shoe in for this one I predict as the field is very spread out in regards to their levels of experience and skills. Some very experienced racers out with some novices also brave enough to put their hat in the ring to take advantage of the attractive package being offered by Yamaha to get involved in the new series.
  • 1303 - 125 Race One Results
  1. Blake Leigh-Smith
  2. Brent Rigoli 2.641
  3. Glenn Scott 2.910
  4. Peter Galvin 3.914
  5. Jackson Leigh-Smith
  • 1300 - Full Results from this mornings races - Superstock Race 1 - Naked/Twins Race 1 - Supersport Race 1
  • 1259 - Blake Leigh-Smith the clear winner by 2.64 seconds over Rigoli, Scott third ahead of Galvin, Jackson Leigh-Smith and Metcher
  • 1256 - Leigh-Smith leads by 2 seconds now with two laps to run, Rigoli in second place ahead of Glenn Scott and Peter Galvin.  Young Jackson Leigh-Smith looks to be coming on well and is running fifth place ahead of Metcher
  • 1252 - Rigoli shuffled back to third place now and Blake Leigh-Smith into the lead
  • 1250 - With five laps to run it is Rigoli with a narrow lead over Galvin with Glenn Scott, Blake Leigh-Smith and Jackson Leigh-Smith all in the hunt. In fact the top five covered by less than a second!
  • 1249 -125 race underway now and Brent Rigoli looking to be the man to beat
  • 1232 - Provisional Results from Supersport Race One (Combined Two Part Race Result)
  1. O'Halloran
  2. Stauffer 2.939

  17. Casella
  18. Goldsmith
  19. Andrews
  20. Hay
  21. Stronach
  22. Simmonds
  23. Liddicoat
  24. J Cullen
  25. Ingram
  26. Tomassetti
  27. Davies
  • 1231 - O'Halloran crosses the line ahead of Stauffer by a nose to take the win by 2.939 seconds on combined time, a very slow last lap by Staring gave Stauffer second place and the Honda man takes third.  Waters fourth, Holland fifth, Crowe sixth
  • 1230 - Staring looks to have given up the chase however as he must think he is third on combined time.... He looks to have relaxed too much and he will lose that second place as a result I fear...
  • 1229 - Last lap board and Staring is close enough to Stauffer to be in second place on combined time now.... O'Halloran has the win for sure but second place is still too close to tall on combined time...
  • 1227 - The top three all running nose to tail now...  O'Halloran to the lead on the track!  Up the inside of Jamie
  • 1226 - O'Halloran up to second now and Jamie has built enough of a gap over Staring on the track to move up to second place on combined time so we look on course for a Yamaha 1-2 now. Three laps to run...
  • 1225 - Jamie through on Staring now for the on track lead. O'Halloran all over Staring now and the gap between the two on combined time 1.8 seconds in O'Halloran's favour
  • 1222 - O'Halloran underneath the Suzuki now to take third place on track. The gap on combined time 1.1 seconds to O'Halloran over Staring. Jamie Stauffer is right on the tail of Staring but on combined time lies in third place 8-tenths behind second placed Staring
  • 1221 - O'Halloran struggling to get past Waters also, the Suzuki looks to perhaps have the most mumbo of all the bikes here today. Staring the fastest man on the track, a 24.631. Only 1.2 seconds behind O'Halloran on combined time now..
  • 1219 - Down the main straight and Jamie Stauffer looks up the inside of Staring into turn one but the Honda man holds on to the lead. O'Halloran still leads on combined time by 1.7 seconds over Staring
  • 1218 - Waters holding off Staring, Stauffer right there also and O'Halloran right on his tail. Staring finally makes his move in the tight section around the back of the circuit and Stauffer up to second at the next turn to push Waters back to third.
  • 1216 - Staring looks up the inside into turn one but pulls out of the move, he has to make his move or Stauffer will push him back to third
  • 1215 - Waters gets the holeshot again with O'Halloran in behind but of course on combined time O'Halloran leads by nearly 2.5 seconds. But on the track this time around it is Waters in front, Staring second on the track and Jamie Stauffer up to third place now as O'Halloran gets shuffled back to fourth
  • 1214 - Ready for the restart now
  • 1155 - Rider is fine but his bike is stranded in the middle of the track making things dangerous for the other riders. The bike down is that belonging to I think Glenn Cullen but he walked away unscathed.  We didn't need that delay however as we are already a long time behind schedule
  • 1154 - 10 laps to run now and O'Halloran leads by 2.4 seconds over Staring, both riders just put in 24.4.  RED FLAG
  • 1153 - O'Halloran untroubled up front and puts in a new fastest lap, a 24.305 (new race lap record). Staring has pulled half a second out on Waters and Stauffer.  Jamie Stauffer a bit more forceful than Staring and now through on Waters
  • 1151 - Staring still on the tail of Waters and perhaps took too long to make his move, but he has done it now around the tight back section just as Jamie joined them to make it a three way affair
  • 1150 - Waters is holding off Staring and Stauffer starting to close on them now. O'Halloran running his own race more than 1.3 seconds out in front of that second place battle. A 24.471 to O'Halloran on that last lap but Stauffer the man on the move with a new fastest lap of the race with a 24.412...  Still 13 laps to run so certainly everything still up for grabs
  • 1149 - 14 laps to run and O'Halloran leads by a second now after putting in a 24.794.  Staring challenging Waters for second place now, Stauffer 1.3 seconds further down in fourth place and has nearly a second over Crowe, Holland and Seaton with that trio running virtually nose to tail
  • 1148 - O'Halloran sprinting away from the Suzuki now. Waters looks to be struggling for rear grip onto the main straight with two grip and slips breaking away on the Suzuki which gave O'Halloran a good buffer.
  • 1147 - O'Halloran up the inside of Waters at the end of the old straight, Staring closing on that leading duo a little.  Stauffer up to fourth place now
  • 1146 - Staring up the inside of Crowe to take third place, O'Halloran all over Waters now and this pair getting away a little
  • 1145 - Away they go!  The front row all away well but Josh Waters on the Suzuki takes the lead into turn one! O'Halloran in second place, Crowe in third then it is Staring, Holland and Stauffer
  • 1143 - Not far away now from the first Supersport race of the weekend and signs are encouraging that Yamaha's complete 1-2-3 domination of the class may be coming to end with the new Pirelli shod 2007 model CBR600RR looking to be gaining pace in what is the very early stages of its development. Holland and Staring will both start from the front row alongside Crowe and O'Halloran while Jamie Stauffer heads the second row where two more manufacturers are represented, Josh Waters flying the flag for Suzuki and Wayne Maxwell putting a Kawasaki near the pointy end of the field. Kawasaki this round running new tyres after switching to Dunlop from Michelin
  • 1119 - Provisional Results from Naked / Twins/ Forgotten Era Race One

  • 1050 - There it is, red flag is out, quite a delay until it was shown and I think more put out due to the position of Sciberras' machine in case anyone else went down on the next lap, Sciberras in a bit of pain but conscious and moving around. Race declared.
  • 1050 - Sciberras down and hurting, think we might get another red flag
  • 1049 - Hern getting away from Carr now and this race is his if he keeps it upright, Henry not in a position to make a challenge.
  • 1046 - Carr gets a great run off the start line and Hern goes with him, Henry a poor start again and has his work cut out for him.  Sciberras very aggressive this time around and forces his way into third place. Hern to the lead around the back section of the circuit
  • 1032 - At this stage of proceedings officials are indicating that this will now be a two part race with the second part of the race to be run over three laps.
  • 1029 - Red Flag.  Nothing too dangerous though
  • 1028 - One of the Kawasaki runners just highsided himself into orbit over the back of the circuit but looks to be okay.
  • 1028 - Carr has responded to drop into the 29s also, a 29.8 to Carr versus a 29.7 to Henry, the gap down to 8-tenths
  • 1026 - Ben Henry has now finally managed to squeeze passed and pull away from Carr and immediately takes nearly 1.4 seconds out of Carr's lead in just one lap!  Four laps to run and Henry will be on Carr any second now, the WA rider just put in the first 1m29 of the race with a 29.2, 1.5 seconds quicker than Carr's best.
  • 1024 - Carr has a lead of nearly two seconds on his pursuers now as they fight amongst themselves. Henry having a ding dong battle with Carr while a little further back is Cowie while Yates and Sciberras tussle furiously over fifth
  • 1023 - Ben Henry looking for a way through and starting to get aggressive... Hern is escaping though as Henry and Carr swap paint at nearly every turn
  • 1021 - Charles Hern leads by 7-tenths of a second over Carr as they commence lap two, Henry has moved up to third place ahead of Cowie, Yates, Riddle, Sciberras and Aitken
  • 1020 - Superstockers are away!  Brayden Carr leads from Charles Hern and Tim Cowie through the esses for the first time
  • 1019 - A distinct dry line has formed on the circuit after the warm up sessions and while the cloud cover is near total it doesn't look as though any more significant downpours are expected. If the rain does stay away then at this stage there will be no need for the use of wets. The Superstock race kicks off shortly, here are the results from the morning warm up sessions - Superstock - Naked/Twins - Supersport - 125 - FZ6 - FX - Superbike
