Report - Final Qualifying - Kawasaki

Today wasn't a good day for the Kawasaki PSG-1 Corse team whose riders Fonsi Nieto and Regis Laconi achieved respectively the third and the forth row. Nieto felt better than yesterday and even with some chattering problems has nearly touched the second row on the fast lap. That demonstrates that he is ready for the round. More troubles for Laconi who didn't solve the feeling problems with the front of the bike. Anyway he didn't reach the third row for less than 0,1 ''. The warm-up of tomorrow will be decisive for the two riders of the Kawasaki PSG-1 team, and they wants and try to be competitive and hopefully among the protagonists.

FONSI NIETO:" I'm not completely well but I feel much better even on the track. I consider today my first day of test 'cause yesterday I was knock out. We still have too much chattering on the back in the left bends but we'll try to take the most of tomorrow morning to test and solve the situation. About the superpole, I regret it a bit 'cause I was so near to the second row, but I lost the trajectory twice losing the possibility to make the right time.".

REGIS LACONI:" We haven't found the solution to the yesterday's problems, I'm not confident with the front 'cause when I enter the corners the bike goes wide and I have to close the gas. This happens expecially with the bends to the right, even in the Superpole lap. Besides when there are three corners, if you make a mistake on the first one you'll take wrong the other too. I have to admit that we are in the dark but we have absolutely to make the bike easier to ride".
