  • 1606 - Bayliss all over Toseland but the Honda maintaining the lead... Haga third, Corser fourth, Biaggi fifth.... We have a battle to the line for he win and also for third....  I think Toseland will take the win... Yes he does, Toseland the winner and punches the air in celebration!  He is a happy boy indeed.  Toseland the winner, Bayliss second, Haga the final man on the podium and closely followed home by Biaggi and Corser.  Xaus sixth then followed by Lanzi, Neukirchner, Fabrizio, Rolfo, Smrz, Brookes, Nakatomi, Nieto, Polita, Zaiser
  • 1604 - Toseland and Bayliss the pace men here all weekend and showing it again today... Biaggi back through on Haga for third place as they get the last lap board... Toseland and Bayliss down to 32.8 on the penultimate lap... Then the Yamaha men push Biaggi back to fifth again as they start the final lap!
  • 1603 - Corser runs onto the dirt down the main straight and lost a lot of time on Haga and Biaggi, perhaps too much for him to be able to get on terms with them again for a podium challenge...
  • 1602 - Corser up the inside of Biaggi at turn four to push the Suzuki man back to fifth.. Toseland and Bayliss have left them in their wake now, the leading duo now have more than 2.5 seconds on the Suzuki-Yamaha-Yamaha battle for third place...
  • 1601 - Biaggi repays the favour to Haga on the next lap by slipping back through to third at MG.. Haga on his tail down the chute... And Haga very brave into turn one to steal third place back, three laps to run... Toseland and Bayliss are going away from them...
  • 1600 - Haga underneath Biaggi into MG Hairpin to take third place.  Ellison has retired to the pits... Bayliss has responded to Toseland to put in a 32.79 and close right back onto the pipe of the Fireblade once again.
  • 1559 - They are stretching out a little now... Toseland has upped the pace, back down to 33.0.. Bayliss going with him but Biaggi and the Yamaha duo left behind on that last lap and they will also have to up their game if they are to stay in the hunt
  • 1557 - The top five still only covered by 1.1 seconds, Toseland the leader from Bayliss, Biaggi, Haga and Corser
  • 1556 - Laconi has rolled to a stop with some machinery dramas
  • 1555 - The top five well ahead of the rest of the field. Lanzi is running sixth some seven seconds further back and in front of Xaus, Laconi, Fabrizio, Neukirchner, Nieto, Rolfo, Smrz, Brookes, Nakatomi, Polita, Zaiser, Ellison
  • 1553 - Corser closes up again though to make the top five covered by a single second...
  • 1551 - Biaggi not challenging Bayliss and Toseland yet... Haga is actually right on his tail again now... Corser losing touch with them...
  • 1549 - Biaggi passes both Yamaha men... Half race distance and now we have Honda, Ducati, Suzuki...
  • 1548 - Biaggi only 7-tenths behind Haga now... Biaggi 1.4 seconds behind the race leader and the race leader is not Troy Bayliss, the Ducati has gone through on the Honda.... But Toseland back through and then Haga through also... The top five all nose to tail now.... That was all quite strange, it was as though Bayliss looked around and decided he didn't want to lead the way as yet but he wasn't counting on a Yamaha sneaking through also!!!
  • 1547 - Biaggi still closing steadily... He is only 1.3 seconds behind Haga now... 1.99 seconds behind the race leader...
  • 1545 - The Yamaha men really struggling to stay with the Honda and Ducati now... Biaggi closing in on the Yamahas and again the quickest man on that previous lap...
  • 1543 - Bayliss right on Toseland now and shaping up for a challenge... Biaggi is nearly three seconds behind Toseland but now only two seconds behind Haga...
  • 1541 - The race pace a little slower in this race... That could help the Yamahas in their quest to keep some grip towards the end of the race...
  • 1540 - Bayliss gets Corser into turn one to take second place.  Biaggi the quickest man on that lap, a 33.07 but he needs to go quicker again if he is going to catch this group...
  • 1539 - Biaggi has got the better of Laconi and Xaus now to move back up to fifth but is 3 seconds behind the leading quartet
  • 1538 - The top four very close now, less than a second covering the whole quartet. Haga again the quickest man, Bayliss sandwiched between two Yamaha R1s
  • 1536 - Toseland the first man in the 32s with a 32.878 on lap two but Haga the quickest man on lap three with a 32.627 and is closing on third placed Bayliss. Running fifth is Xaus ahead of Laconi, Biaggi, Lanzi, Nieto and Neukirchner.  Steve Martin ahs returned to the pits with some machinery problems
  • 1534 - Biaggi then gets carved up by Xaus and Haga around the back of the circuit to be shuffled back to seventh.  Corser leading by 3-tenths from Toseland and Bayliss at the end of the first lap but those three tightened right up during lap two and ran onto the main straight tightly packed together and Toseland ripped through to the lead at turn one, and the three nearly side by side into Southern Loop... But Toseland out the other side in front, Corser second, Bayliss third.
  • 1533 - Biaggi gets the holeshot once again but Toseland rushes up the inside of him into turn two but Corser the man that hits the front in the run to turn two, and Bayliss up to second.

  • 1436 - Coxhell through to second at MG Hairpin! Gilesy gets him straight back though...They will drag to the line for second.... Gilesy gets second, Coxhell third and they both did a 35.5 on that final lap to close the gap to Jamie down to 9-tenths.  Allerton fourth, Charlton fifth, Dan Stauffer 6th, Staring 7th, Fergusson 8th, Holland 9th and Anthony Gobert the first Kawasaki home in tenth place
  • 1434 - Last lap board now and Jamie leads by 1.5 seconds, nothing between the Suzuki men in second and third places, Coxhell a 35.6 on that lap and looking back to his old self!  This will be great for his confidence heading to Winton in a couple of weeks time for round two of the Aussie Superbike Championship
  • 1433 - Charlton has pushed Staring back to sixth place now, Gilesy and Coxhell both in the 35s now while Jamie has gone out to a low 36... The gap to the leader two seconds and there is two laps to run...
  • 1432 - Coxhell up to third place now after getting the better of Allerton.. Jamie still running 35s and pulling away... Suzuki second and third but Allerton really trying to spoil their party...
  • 1431 - Three laps to run... Jamie leads by 2.12 seconds over Giles who has Allerton right on his tail, Coxhell there, Staring has drifted back a little and is being hassled by Dan Stauffer and Scott Charlton.  Fergusson has lost ground on the leading group also...
  • 1430 - Bryan back through to second place.  Coxhell has got past Dan Stauffer now for fifth place and is right behind Giles.. Hold that... Gilesy up to second place now... Something has happened to Staring... Not sure what... He must have had a moment and had to back off as he has lost a few positions...  Giles second now, Allerton third but Coxhell is all over him now... Things changing rapidly now...
  • 1429 - Five laps to run and Jamie leads by 1.1 seconds now after putting in a 35.4.  Staring gets taken by Allerton at turn one, the battle for second where the action is.. Staring, Allerton, Giles, Dan and Coxhell all right there and in the fight for the final two rungs on the podium
  • 1428 - Staring up the inside of Allerton into turn four for second place but Jamie is getting away....
  • 1427 - Jamie edging away from Allerton a little now, and there's why, a 35.33 to Jamie on that lap to pull out half a second on Allerton. Staring right on Allerton's tail. Gilesy and Dan not far behind...
  • 1426 - Holland the quickest man on that lap but down in tenth place behind Anthony Gobert, who on that lap was also quicker than the leaders... Jamie back into the lead up front however. Allerton second, Staring third, Giles fourth, Dan, Krusty and Coxhell right there also.
  • 1425 - Jamie and Bryan touching fairings side by side through the Hayshed!  Unbelievable stuff!  Jamie back in to second, Allerton still has the lead, Dan is catching them all to make it a gaggle of five... Krusty and Coxhell coming with him!
  • 1424 - Jamie pulls alongside Allerton on the main straight, Bryan makes it three wide!!! Allerton has the advantage in turn one though, Jamie up the inside at turn three but Glenn deep at four and back into the lead, Bryan through on Jamie to take second, the top four nose to tail...
  • 1423 - Jamie inside Shawn before turn four for second place. Allerton the race leader, Jamie second, third Shawn, fourth Bryan then a little further back is Dan, Charlton, Fergusson and Coxhell
  • 1422 - Allerton in Giles' slipstream down the main straight, doesn't have it on power but shoots to the lead with a braver entry to turn one
  • 1421 - They are away, Jamie's R1 rises on to one wheel and that allows Gilesy to get a better run, Allerton a great start and up into second place behind Giles and challenging for the lead, Staring into fourth and haggling Jamie
  • 1420 - Aussie Superbikes getting ready for a race start...

  • 1356 - Kawasaki are going to do it.... It has been a long time between drinks for both Kawasaki and Foret but they have broke the drought!  Foret wins by 0.7secs, Parkes takes third, Charpentier fourth then further back it was Fujiwara, Riba, Harms, Veneman, Alfonsi, Tiberio, and Curtain a disappointing 11th
  • 1355 - Last lap now and the gaps across the stripe are Foret - 0.907secs to Sofuoglu - 1.382secs to Parkes - 3.998secs to Charpentier, the French Ten Kate man now out of the fight
  • 1354 - Sofuoglu under Parkes in turn four to take second place... This is the penultimate lap... It's not over yet!
  • 1353 - Things are tightening up at the top... Charpentier not out of the picture either and could yet spring a surprise although he will have to do something very special to do it. But we know special is his specialty!
  • 1353 - Sofuoglu has chased them down also... This could be a three way affair to the line yet!
  • 1352 - Foret into the lead now, a terrible lap to Broc on that one.. The Kawasaki now in the lead!
  • 1351 - Foret now only 0.965 of a second behind Parkes now... Only a few laps to run...
  • 1350 - Fujiwara on Curtain now, Curtain must have some serious problems as he dropped 3 seconds on that last lap, his rear tyre completely shagged by the look of it
  • 1348 - The gap down to 1.297 seconds now... Foret has pulled away from Charpentier who now has his hands full with Sofuoglu. Curtain is six seconds behind that battle for third place...
  • 1347 - Foret looking very dangerous now.. The gap down to 1.458 seconds and he is lapping four tenths a lap quicker than Parkes... If Broc has anything left in the bag now is the time to bring it out...
  • 1345 - Foret is past Charpentier now.. Can he chase down Broc and take a win for Kawasaki... The gap shrinks to 1.900 seconds so he has the pace... He is not doing it easy though as the Kawasaki is sliding around a fair bit... Can Broc respond...?
  • 1344 - 13 laps down and the gap now... 2.292 seconds.. Foret setting up to challenge Charpentier... Sofuoglu has pushed Curtain back to fifth now. Wildcard Seaton in 20th, Greedy 25th
  • 1342 - Curtain looks to be struggling for rear grip now, Foret right on his tail but the Kawasaki also looks to be struggling for drive, however the Kawasaki looks to get out of the tight turns better but the Yamaha better out of the quicker corners... Foret through and pulling away now.... Charpentier is not catching!  He is not catching Broc... Broc now has 2.192 seconds on the Frenchman... And the Frenchman might have his hands full with a Kawasaki mounted countryman very shortly...
  • 1341 - Foret up to fourth on the Kawasaki after slotting past Sofuoglu at MG Hairpin.. The gap this time.... Back out to 1.807 so Broc opens his advantage out a little again... Peris goes down but is up and fine
  • 1340 - Sofuoglu up the inside of Curtain at turn four but the Yamaha men gets him back, the Turk looks to try again at Siberia but Kev has him covered..
  • 1339 - Charpentier pulling away from Curtain... Quicker than Parkes on that lap also... The gap shrinks to 1.595 seconds as they reach the halfway point of the 21 lap race
  • 1337 - Charpentier back up to second place now, but Parkes edges out a little more, the pace slowing a little with nobody in the 35s that time around but Broc still improves his advantage to 1.766 seconds
  • 1335 - Parkes pulls out more ground on that one... Charpentier slows to a 36.2 while Parkes maintained his 35s form with a 35.844, the gap 1.600 seconds...  Curtain through on the Frenchman now, a tight group tussling over that second place now, Charpentier, Curtain, Sofuoglu and Foret the protagonists... This could play in to Broc's hands...
  • 1333 - This time around the gap is 1.194 so Charpentier catching up slowly by slowly... His 34.976 from lap two faster than anyone managed in qualifying here this weekend...  Also faster than any of the Aussie Production Superbikes!!! Gobsmacked!
  • 1332 - Nothing between them laptime wise that time around, the gap 1.356 seconds... Charpentier is going to have to start pulling out some crackers to chase down the Yamaha.  The Frenchman's best on lap two was a stunning 34.976 so he has the pace to do it...
  • 1331 - Charpentier with the hammer down to try and run down Parkes but Parkes looks really strong...
  • 1330 - The front runner all under lap record pace, Parkes getting away from them... The middle NSW Coast man on fire here today... Charpentier back up to second place now pushing Curtain back to third... Parkes now leads by 1.385 seconds.... a 35.5 to Parkes...
  • 1329 - Yamaha 1-2 now... Parkes broke away from Charpentier and Curtain caught and passed the the Frenchman to take second place, Charpentier was 1.3 seconds slower on that lap than the one before so may have made some sort of mistake or had a problem...
  • 1328 - The top four tightening up a little now, Curtain and Sofuoglu starting to figure a little more strongly
  • 1327 - Parkes all over the back of Charpentier and this pair edging away from Curtain now... Parkes to the lead into turn one again but this time he holds off Charpentier into turn two...
  • 1326 - Parkes gets Charpentier into turn one but the Frenchman gets him right back, the new Honda not yet up to full speed at this early stage in its development and the Yamaha looks to have a power advantage... A 34.976 to Charpentier on lap two nonetheless...
  • 1325 - Charpentier to the lead now, Parkes second, Curtain third, Sofuoglu fourth, Foret fifth, Fujiwara sixth. Wildcard Seaton 21st, Greedy 22nd
  • 1324 - Parkes still leading the way, Sofuoglu made a challenge at MG that cost him a lot of time and he was shuffled back to fourth while Charpentier and Curtain chase Parkes
  • 1323 - They are away now after being held on the line for some time... Parkes to the lead, two down at Southern Loop... Might bring out the flag, no maybe not, the riders look fine, one is Kallio the other Fores
  • 1321 - Supersport men on their warm up lap now..
  • 1315 - Five minutes now before World Supersport proceedings get underway...
  • 1250 - Half an hour until the Supersport race so you have time to check out some more images we have uploaded - Gallery J

  17. Ellison 90.18secs
  18. Drazdak 1 lap
  • 1237 - Haga drives up the inside between Siberia and the Hayshed to take fourth place.... Bayliss will win by more than a second... And he does, Bayliss the victor, Toseland second (2 secs), Biaggi third (10 secs), Haga fourth (18 secs).
  • 1236 - Haga now only a second behind Corser now as they start the final lap, I think Haga will get him before they get to the flag as Corser is sideways everywhere...
  • 1235 - Bayliss not backing off, using the kerbs and plenty of aggression.... Don't throw it away now Troy!
  • 1234 - The gap between first and second place now out to full second.  Biaggi a further nine seconds down and well clear of Corser now. Haga might even manage to catch Corser to steal fourth place in this closing couple of laps...
  • 1233 - Bayliss is pulling away from Toseland!  The Ducati man has broken away from the Honda, a 32.7 that time around to Bayliss, a 33.0 to Toseland...  Bayliss will win this race, Toseland will be second and Biaggi will be third...
  • 1232 - Corser has no rear grip left whatsoever, as soon as he taps the throttle the Yamaha steps sideways.... Biaggi through easily and he will spring away from the Yamaha now...
  • 1231 - Only a matter of time until Biaggi is through to third place now...
  • 1230 - Bayliss to the lead at turn four!  And he has the hammer down to try and break him... This could be a new fastest lap....Toseland's Honda struggling for drive now through turn 11.... Perhaps the Ducati is looking after its rear tyre here a little better than the Honda... A 32.92 to Bayliss on that lap, a 33.4 to Toseland.  Biaggi all over Corser now as the Yamaha man is really losing pace drastically...
  • 1229 - Corser now 3.5 seconds adrift now and Biaggi is fourth only 3 seconds behind him and could run him down...
  • 1226 - Bayliss actually looks to be able to hold a tighter line now, perhaps Toseland riding a little defensively... Bayliss inches of his bum all the way through 12... Could reach out and touch him down the chute but the Honda maintains the slender advantage all the way down the chute.... Bayliss around the outside at turn four, not in the entry, but in the middle, but Toseland forces his position and pushes Bayliss out wide to prevent the Ducati man staying in front... Toseland raises his hand in apology through the Hayshed but now back down to business, rubbing is racing...
  • 1225 - Bayliss right up Toseland's clacker down the chute, tighter line for the Ducati into turn two... Toseland puts the power down beautifully out of two, the pair still stuck together at Honda Corner, through the Hayshed...
  • 1224 - Biaggi 1.3 seconds clear of Haga now but the Italian more than seven seconds down on Toseland after 14 laps, that of course equates to half a second a lap advantage to the Brit
  • 1223 - Bayliss all over the back of Toseland.. Both look fairly tidy and looking like it will go down to the wire between these two but Corser is still close enough to capitalise on any mistake should the front pair start tripping each other up...
  • 1221 - Haga trying to prevent Biaggi getting away from him... The leading trio all ran flat 33s on that lap.. They come across the line once again and this time around Corser really lost some ground through 11 and 12... Bayliss stuck to Toseland like chewing gum that just stretches back and forth, back and forth...
  • 1220 - Corser hanging on to them still, showing great confidence in the front end of his Yamaha and able to hold a tighter line in the slower turns than Bayliss...
  • 1219 - The leading trio all clocked a 1 minute 32 on that previous lap... The race passing the halfway point now and the current state of affairs is Toseland, Bayliss, Corser with nothing between them, then Biaggi 7 seconds back in fourth with nearly a full second over Haga
  • 1218 - Biaggi has pulled a couple of lengths on Haga now to make that fourth place a little safer. Corser struggling for grip through turns 11 and 12 but making it up for it with aggression on the front tyre into turn one and also turn four...
  • 1217 - Toseland's Honda just beautifully stepped out a couple of inches all the way out of Siberia and through the Hayshed, just wonderful to watch. Around turns 11 and 12 they go and the Fireblade pops the front a little as he straightens for the run down the chute.. Corser coming back at them a little, determined not to drift backwards
  • 1216 - Brookes is starting to lose some pace and will be under attack from Neukirchner very shortly. Bayliss right up Toseland's clacker now as they step things back up a notch and starting to leave the Yamaha in their wake a little now...
  • 1215 - Bayliss back up to second as Corser losing a little place which has given Toseland some breathing space... Bayliss will want to prevent that Honda's tailpipe creeping away...
  • 1214 - This leading trio still nose to tail... Brit - Aussie - Aussie or on a different tack - Honda - Yamaha - Ducati...
  • 1213 - Haga and Biaggi having a good tussle over fourth place, Laconi around 1.5 seconds behind that duo and running sixth with nearly a full second on seventh placed Xaus
  • 1212 - Bayliss still watching Corser and Toseland from close astern, perhaps just staying in touch and being gentle on his rubber.  Toseland's Ten Kate looks rock solid and when it slides it is smooth and poetic, the electronics on the Honda obviously well sorted this year...  And of course the Brit is riding like a demon!
  • 1211 - Bayliss getting a good slipstream behind the Honda and Yamaha, 317km/h to the Ducati down the main straight!  15km/h faster than Toseland has gone thus far in this race!
  • 1210 - Martin past Brookes for tenth now, Neukirchner running 12th ahead of Rolfo and Fabrizio
  • 1209 - Corser screwing his Pirelli in to the deck out of turn two that time in an effort to dry and drive up the inside of Toseland but he is not going to out grunt that Ten Kate machine. Bayliss in third and looking fairly smooth, Toseland oh so smooth, Corser wriggling and squiggling and probably cooking some Pirelli pasta...
  • 1207 - Lanzi has squeezed past Brookes to push the Aussie back to 10th.  Toseland, Corser, Bayliss the form up front... Who has the best tyre...  My money is on Toseland, he has done the most quick laps this weekend and has been looking comfortable and confident doing it...
  • 1206 - Toseland, Corser, Bayliss still the leading trio and they are covered by only half a second as they start lap four.  Biaggi through on Haga for fourth. Corser lowers the lap record again, that time a 31.826 on lap three
