Report - Josh Brookes

Josh Brookes finished round three disappointed, cold and fired up for round 4 in Valencia. Battling arm pump in race one, Josh finished 12th behind Teammate Karl Muggeridge, but after making a poor tire choice in race two, struggled home to finish 15th.

Josh Brookes:
“I don’t feel too great right now. My times were OK during some of the sessions leading up to race day. I was 7th in final practice on Saturday, which wasn’t too bad, and I was feeling really positive, but it wasn’t to be this weekend. I blew Superpole, with the track temperature changes catching me out so ended up starting from a crummy 15th on the grid. Life wasn’t going to be easy starting from there. In race 1, I got arm pump after half race distance which made it almost impossible to hang on and finishing 12th was quite frankly lucky. Race 2 I went for a softer tire thinking it would get me home and I’d do some good times and make up some places. Up until ½ race distance my theory was working. I was making up places, but then after halfway, the tire went off, and I was just surviving. I feel pretty down right now, but am heading back to Italy for a weeks motocrossing to get myself sharp and will have a red hot go at Valencia in the next round.”
