--  Pirelli Road Race Series now includes a Period 5 & 6 Class Series Pirelli Road Race Series now includes a Period 5 & 6 Class. The series will combine both classes but if entries for the Period 5 Class exceed nine bikes per round the Class will be pointed separately. The Pirelli Road Race Series is designed specifically for the riders based on what the riders have asked for. This means more time on track and less time sitting in the pits. Commencing at Winton Motor Raceway on March 2nd -3rd the series then moves to Mac Park in Mt Gambier (SA) on June 8th – 9th, Phillip Island on August 31st and September 1st culminating in a feature packed final round at Broadford on September 14th – 15th. Rounds 1 – 3 incorporate the Reevu Sprint Series on the Saturday and the Ferodo/Motul TT Series on the Sunday. Round 4 has the final round of the Ferodo/Motul TT Series on the Saturday with the Sunday featuring the Harvey Wiltshire Memorial Trophy Race, three handicap races and three Hughie Hoare Endurance races, one of which is for juniors. A brand new Reevu Helmet valued at $549 will be awarded to the winner of each Reevu Sprint Series Round with additional helmets being awarded to juniors as encouragement/achievement awards each round. The Ferodo/Motul series will feature cash prizes for first and second place getters in most classes with Series sponsor Cykel providing “Cykel Cash” vouchers for podium finishers in all classes and some “C Grade” classes. Generous cash prizes will be given for the podium finishers in the Harvey Wiltshire and Hughie Hoare races.
