Kawasaki's four-stroke for the juniors is the all new KLX 110R. A little smaller physically, but also cheaper, than the offerings from Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha in this segment the KLX 110R still offers plenty of performance from it's 111cc air-cooled engine.

That level of performance can be modulated by an adult as the riders skill develops. The new KLX 110R has an easily adjustable throttle limiter on the handlebar that controls how fast the machine can go at maximum throttle.

In theme with it's smaller stature the Kawasaki also offers an automatic clutch on it's three speed gearbox to further make things easier for the smaller riders.

30mm front forks combine with a single rear shock to suspend the 64 kilogram light Kawasaki. Ground clearance is 190mm while the seat height is by far the lowest of the bikes we feature this week at only 660mm making it the most suitable for the younger kids.

Kawasaki have styled their junior machine along the lines of their competition bred KX machines, no doubt in the aim of ingraining some brand
loyalty amongst the young and keep them coming back to the big K as they grow older and demand more serious bikes such as the KLX 250R, 300R or big daddy 650R.
