Yamaha offer two variants of the TT-R 125. The standard model offers a seat height of 775mm while the slightly larger TT-R 125 LW is a bit higher at 805mm and offers a disc brake but comes in $600 dearer at $4,999.

The 124cc four-stroke single drives through a proper five-speed manual transmission and chain final drive.

Digital ignition should ensure it is always easy to kick over. Air filter access requires no tools and the filter can be cleaned in a matter of
minutes. Keeping the air filter clean is vitally important on all dirt bikes and perhaps has the most bearing on engine longevity.

Styling is along the lines of the whole Yamaha TT-R, YZ and WR range while the warranty is the same as all the other bikes in this class at six months.
