Honda XR 650L
Dec 4th, 2001

Honda Australia now has an electric start 650 in their dirtbike range.  The new machine is not powered by the 'hot' XR 650 R motor but instead is motivated by the well proven motor from the NX 650 Dominator.

In common with the more trail riding role this machine is designed for suspension settings have been softened up a little compared to the XR 650 R.

However the XR 650 L does score the 43mm Showa cartridge forks and the Pro-Link single shock rear suspension. A lower seat height will be great news for those who are caught a little short in the leg department.
